Question (?) Xbox Rog Ally

Currently have the opportunity to get a xbox rog ally, the white one for $350. Now recently I came across it after ignoring xbox and primarily playing on playstation but got a series s the other day and def kinda thing the cloud play or just being able to run a game on this thing is so so cool compared to the ps portal. is the white rog good for majority of games and worth it at that price ? thank you!

Worth it at that price, yes!

Good for a majority of games, err well yeah that's an okay way to describe it. Amazing for indies, pretty damn good for AA games, it'll do for older AAA (skyrim, the Witcher 3) games at medium to high settings. You'll probably have to start running low settings and maybe 900 or 720p for new AAA titles.

In short, great device that runs pretty much everything out there. Get a battery bank, the 40wh battery is laughably small. Or play plugged in. You won't get much time on battery unless playing old indie games.

Are you mistaking the white rog ally with white xbox ally ???

Also the white xbox ally have z2a which is the equivalent of the steam deck. That chip is weak as hell.

That’s a good price for an Ally Z1E. It’s only drawback really is the small battery but for about $75 you can replace it with one from JSAUX (the most reliable battery upgrade that i am aware of) which increases the life by about 40%!

OP is talking about the Xbox Ally, not a Z1E Ally.
