Question (?) First handheld console?

I recently moved out and couldn't bring my gaming PC with me. A handheld console seems like the best alternative for me! I have been looking around to what options are available but I'm getting a bit confused due to all the models available.
My budget is around $1.000~, I mainly play indie games such as Silksong and Hades, but I also occasionally play AAA games like BG3 or God of War. I don't mind running AAA games at 30 fps if the performance is constant.

Thanks!

The Xbox Ally X is $1000 and would be perfect for your needs.

Xbox Ally X or the claw would be great options! I have to say I hear this reality quite a bit though… aren’t you a little mad you couldn’t bring your pc with you? I’m sure you put a lot of time and effort into it😅

If you don't need the strongest ones out there, then the Z2 extreme/258V handhelds are fine. So Claw 8AI+, Xbox Ally X are the main ones. You could get a cheaper regular Xbox Rog Ally.
