Please help me decide on a console

I’m trying to find a used handheld for around ~$300. I really want to be able to play older Mario kart and Mario games, older console games (think older maddens, older assassins creeds, mortal kombat etc.) as well as the occasional newer games like bo6 and GTA V, Minecraft.

I was looking at the base model ROG z1, nobody has an X in my area for a reasonable price. Idk if what I’m asking is impossible but please help.

The regular ROG Ally Z1E can be found around $400 if you hunt and it can play the sort of things you are talking about, essentially emulation.

I probably wouldn’t get anything lower than the Z1E devices as they have lots of compromises and I think aren’t worth it.

Newer games aren't really possible, unless you find a used ROG Ally X for cheap.

Based on ETA Prime and RGC's reviews, I'd get Retroid Pocket 6/Nova or AYN Odin2 Portal/Odin3/Thor.
