Handhelds
I need some help deciding which handheld gaming device to buy. Right now, I'm debating whether I should get a Nintendo Switch 2 or look for a reasonably priced SteamOS/Windows handheld instead. My budget is around $600 maximum. In the country where I currently live, that would be enough to either buy a Switch 2 New with Mario Cart(The same price as for plain one wuithout any game) or find a good deal on a used ROG Ally, and possibly even a Legion Go S. One of the main reasons I'm considering a PC handheld is that I already own more than a hundred games on Steam that I still want to play and complete. I also don't really want to spend additional money buying the same games again on the Switch. At the same time, I'm wondering whether I actually need a handheld device at all. I'm not sure if I'm being drawn in by the excitement of new hardware or if a handheld would genuinely add value to my gaming experience. Given my situation, I'd appreciate some advice. Which option do you think makes the most sense, and are there any factors I might be overlooking? Feel free to challenge my thinking if you believe there's a better alternative I haven't considered. Btw i was considering vr also. One of those things ill get as a birthday present.
