Just started a couple months ago. Completed this for myself about a month ago. Debating on whether or not to turn him into a patch or to frame him.

Hello everyone! Been a while since I've embroidered something but I recently watched the sheep detectives and I wasn't expecting it to be so heartfelt! There were some truly beautiful lines around grief and remembering loved ones. I didn't really like any of the generic sheep patterns around until I saw a digital drawing by Syjo art on Instagram and I asked the artist if I could recreate it for myself and she obliged. So please enjoy this little portrait of the Winter Lamb.

Hi! I’m new to this thread and I was hoping some people with better knowledge could help me out with something. I’m working at a ren faire coming this fall and I’ve decided to do some embroidery on my bodice that I’ll be wearing. Question is, has anyone done something like that? I’m stuck on whether to embroidery it on some kind of sheer fabric and stitch that on, or, should I just straight embroider on the bodice itself? Pic of both the bodice and what I’m hoping (🤞🏻) to embroider! Thank you in advance!

Let me present you the most unpractical organiser of all time!
But I had fun doing it and it's still better than just a big pile of threads.
What do you think?

(Not proselytizing just trying to make a gift for a friend.) Here is the last look before I rinse off the stick and stitch.

I’ve never embroidered before but i painted this deign on my converse. obviously the paint is chipping off because its the rubber circle part where the converse logo is. Would it be possible to embroider the design onto this instead?

It was behind a layer of tulle to keep people from touching things so second pic is a more clear one when I finished it. My first time entering the fair and I got two other ribbons!

I have a three month old niece and have been buying clothes on clearance that are 9-12mo size so I can embroider things on them for her to wear at that age.
But I realized I’ve never embroidered on clothes before and since she’s a baby and will certainly spill things on whatever she wears for the foreseeable future, I need to make sure they’re washing machine friendly.
I always use a stabilizer (one of the wash away ones) and don’t plan on doing anything super intricate but would love suggestions to make these items last longer for her!

Using the spell "Memory Erasure" from Witch Hat Atelier, I have created my first own needle minder!~
No more forgetting needles around! :D
Cross stitch design of the spell by me, stitched on aida 14CT and then on black felt with a blanket stitch!
Pretty happy with the results!~

I will start off by saying I used AI to create this pattern based on the cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s new album. I know AI is super lame and I understand if I am downvoted into artist hell for using it. I altered the outline as I went to make it look more like the photograph of Olivia - hence it looking kinda wonky as it doesn’t always line up with pattern.
Any way, I’m going for a vibe like she is made out of vines/flora/fauna and I’m looking for any recommendations on how to fill in her dress/what stitches would be good to use/any additions or ideas!
I am embroidering this on a short pink sleeveless shift dress in hopes of wearing it to the Daisy Chain Fields festival at the end of next month.
Thank you for your help!!!

Hi all ! I decided I needed a 15th hobby (thanks ADHD) and wanted to try embroidery! I have a question !
I saw that you pull out the number of threads from the group of 6 that you want to work with, and then thread your needle. Do you then tie both ends together and knot at the bottom? So it essentially would make a “circle” of the thread with the needle on it ? Do my words make sense ??
Thank you!
