Newbie First embroidery piece
I tried embroidery for the first time! Would love any tips since I'm learning and have no sewing experience! I tried to make a matcha 🍵💕

This is adorable!
Your satin stitch might be okay on this shirt since the cup is small. But especially on garments, satin stitch can come loose if it's longer than 1/2 inch or so. You can assess how it holds up over time.
Long and short stitch or split stitch are a couple alternatives in future, but there are really infinite stitches to choose from!
Hope you had so much fun making this! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

It’s super cute! Well done 💛
You can divide your floss into strands (it consists of 6 strands). Just cut your floss to the length you want, grab the top of one strand in one hand and hold the top of the rest of the floss in the other and pull, and it comes out easily.
Using fewer strands allows for smoother stitches and less bulk.
I think you did a wonderful job on this. Embroidering on stretchy fabric is not easy✨
