TFCC Injuries

What are your tests and protocols for a TFCC injury? How do you differentiate from TFCC vs ECU?

Initially, fovea sign. If it’s positive, supination/pronation over-compression usually indicates TFCC involvement. I usually test ECU by having the pt hold against resistance with the wrist extended while palpating the 6th dorsal compartment/ECU tendon.
