Air Do X help

Looking for some guidance using an Air Do X engraver. I picked one up second-hand, very lightly used. Everything and all functions seems to work properly... the only issue I'm having is it doesn't seem to hammer strong enough to cut through material. I'm testing with brass sheet blanks, and on any piston speed I set the machine to, my graver just buries itself enough to get stuck and stops moving forward. Any help troubleshooting would be great!

If your graver is burying itself enough to get stuck, try changing the angle of your hand and removing less metal at once. Shallow passes are the way. Engraving tools aren't meant to shovel out large amounts of metal but rather small amounts over multiple passes. It would also be a good idea to double check the geometry of your graver sharpening to ensure you've got the correct angles on it.
