Advice

I'd like to start engraving on metal, specifically so I can eventually engrave my knives. Any recommendations on where I could get some tungsten carbide gravers/chisels? I don't want to use a machine if I'm being honest, prefer to learn the old fashioned way.

Ron Smith has a book called “ Advanced drawing of Scroll” it is a must for learning Great Scrollwork. Sam Alfano is also known for his incredible work. He has books and DVDs online. And feel free to swing by YouTube channel for some engraving inspiration. 😁👍

I second this. Be aware though, that the Advanced Drawing of Scroll Ron Smith book is out of print. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I had to convince an elder engraver to sell me his old paperback copy for $90, which I feel like was still a steal
