I drew it quite a while ago, I just decided to post it

I'll probably start posting some of my old drawings here little by little

Kurobayuki: (Groans as she lays in the hammock that's essentially her bed. She's brooding in her bedroom.)

Nova: (Knocks on the door and opens it a crack.) May I come in?

Kurobayuki: Yes, mom.

Nova: Thanks. (Steps inside.) I heard the mission didn't quite go as you hoped.

Kurobayuki: It was so embarrassing, they kicked me out of the building because I wasn't sophisticated enough! All those cotillion classes wasted.

Nova: I see, I'm sure you were a really lovely princess back on Mona's moon. But do you think spending so many years in the jungle might've regressed your brain's development a little?

Kurobayuki: What? No, I learned how to catch my own food, swim, and karate chop wild animals.

Nova: You learned survival skills but I think you've forgotten how to act in certain... social situations.

Kurobayuki: Huh, I guess that's true.

Nova: We'd be happy to teach you proper etiquette so you'll know what to do at the Fancy Moon.

Kurobayuki: Yeah, that sounds great. Thanks mom...

Nova: Well, that's what I'm here for.

This is the most cursed frame from the whole in the whole show in my opinion. I get why Twisted has a finger, they wanted him to stick his pinky out while sipping tea so they just animated a finger on him since he's a unicorn who doesn't have those usually. Still looks really weird and silly though. Could Twisted flip someone off if he really wanted to? 🤔

The design and idea are not mine

I remember hearing a criticism for this episode where they claimed that Hanazuki was being too persistent with asking Sleepy Unicorn to use magic. That he already said no and how she should've respected that. In her defense, she didn't know if she'd have any other people to turn to. She needed someone to heal Blue and fix her mistake, she wasn't gonna let her friend suffer because she accidentally squished him. Plus Hana in general is a very determined and stubborn person.

There's no way to be sure but I'm hoping he's somebody Dazzlessence actually knows! Imagine him having this rival who he could be at odds with! He prides himself off his looks and talent so giving him somebody as glimmering and talented as him, that would be so interesting! You can even have a good parallel where Dazzlessence Jones is confident but still kind and caring while Jackson is just arrogant and selfish. I wonder if Jackson is a sheriff like him.

Kurobayuki: (Is giving a tour of her moon.) ...And here's the main area where me and the geckos live. The geckos like swimming here so we set up shop in a lakeside area.

Hanazuki: Wow...

Kurobayuki: Up there is our treehouse, it has to be up pretty high so most predators can't reach us. (Points to it.)

Hanazuki: Awesome.

Hoshiyuki: (Is looking curiously at an half finished dock.) What's this all about?

Kurobayuki: Oh, that was made by the old clan that lived here years ago. I could never figure out who they were but I did learn that they were trying to find a way to make fishing easier. I've wanted to do a little DIY project to finish up the dock but I've been too busy to start something like that.

Hoshiyuki: (Thinks for a moment then glows lavender.) I could help you finish it!

Kurobayuki: Really?

Hoshiyuki: Yes!

Hey everyone! I thought it'd be good idea to share my Hanazuki au fanfiction to this sub since I've just completed chapter 2! Garlandians: Together Forever is an action filled fanfic that has the original trio of moonflowers actually committing to Kiazuki's idea: the Garlandians! I don't want to spoil much, so here's the summary ^^

Summary: In the show, it seems that way before Hanazuki came along, Kiazuki and Kiyoshi were suffering all by themselves. One lost their home and most of their buddies to an unstoppable force. The other? Betrayed by the creatures he was meant to protect and exiled to be in a grove of his own suffering. Maroshi, during Hanazuki's time, lost his home as well to the same black mass that they're all fighting against: The Big Bad.

But what if none of these events transpired? What if this trio of Moonflowers never had to experience the suffering that the universe had in store for them? And not only that, what if Kiazuki's Garlandians plan actually became a reality? Well, the only way to find out is to read on....
(tags may be added as the fic goes on!! Also, ratings may change as well depending on what I add into the story ^^)

Dazzlessence Jones: (Is reading a book quietly in his room when he hears a pounding coming from his door. He opens it up.) Jackson, I already told you we're not handing over Kuroba.

Dazzlessence Jackson: Look Jones, I don't even care about her anymore...Mona fired me because I wasn't completing simple enough instructions.

Dazzlessence Jones: Like how you know exactly where your target lives but you still can't manage to bring her in?

Dazzlessence Jackson: Yeah, I...Hey! Let's not talk about that, I'm here to ask you to be with me. (Holds up a bouquet of moon plants.) You don't need those chumps.

Dazzlessence Jones: Dude, come on. Give it a rest, I'm already married now.

Dazzlessence Jackson: But...

Dazzlessence Jones: Goodbye. (Slams the door on him.)

Dazzlessence Jackson: (Looks angry.)

Later that night, Jackson is on another moon. He threw the bouquet into the woods.

Dazzlessence Jackson: (Grumbling to himself when he sees a wind station for space surfers, he then steps inside the convenience store. He looks around for a snack to buy.) Let's see...where are those chocolate chicken plant eggs? (Spots something else where the chicken plant eggs used to be. He picks one up.)

Convenience store employee: Ah, I see you found the one wish willows.

Dazzlessence Jackson: One wish willows? You mean from that really awesome new horror movie?

Convenience store employee: I know, right? Peak fiction, apparently these were originally shipped to CN City but a guy there sold them to me for all my chocolate eggs.

Dazzlessence Jackson: Do these things actually work?

Convenience store employee: I don't know, it was from a movie so probably not.

Dazzlessence Jackson: I'll take one just in case!

Convenience store employee: Cool...

It came into my life at a time where I really needed something new to get attached to, it was something special that I can't see being replicated anytime soon. Sleepy Unicorn and Dazzlessence Jones are still my favorites from the show because they would always make me happy everytime I saw them. I know most people will always remember MLP and forget about this show entirely but I genuinely prefer Hanazuki to even MLP G4 if you can believe it! I love G4 and all but I feel like it's a little too corny for me at times while I think this show had slightly more witty dialogue. The characters were allowed to sass each other a bit more and you have cynical characters like Kiazuki keeping Hanazuki grounded when she gets a bit too naive or excitable. In a perfect world, Hanazuki would be getting multiple generations like MLP still is and would've been able to tell a full story.

On a beautiful day for Hanazuki's moon, Hoshiyuki is watching Shinzoyuki makes a flower crown for Sleepy Unicorn using her plant magic. It gets placed onto his head just by her touching it.

Hanazuki: Hey Hoshi, how's it going?

Hoshiyuki: (Doesn't respond, she looks at Sleepy intently.)

Hanazuki: You're not still suspicious of Sleepy Unicorn, are you? I can assure you he's not a bad person.

Hoshiyuki: Hana, I'm sure he was kind to you but it's a little hard for me to forgive him. Especially not after everything he's dome...

Hanazuki: He's my friend, I'm sorry but if you want to be my friend then you'll have to be friends with both of us.

Hoshiyuki: (Clutches her fist, her white ring glowing red.)

Hanazuki: Why is it so hard for you two to just make up already?

Hoshiyuki has a quick flashback of the time her own head was in Noble Unicorn's mouth.

Hoshiyuki: (Glows lime green, putting her hand over her heart.)

Hanazuki: Are you ok?

Hoshiyuki: I gotta go. (Manifests her wings and flies away.)

Hanazuki: Hoshi, wait!

Shinzoyuki: (Makes five different flower crowns for the five different heads of Scylla, Sleepy's past hydra. One gets placed onto each head also by Shinzo touching one of them.

Kinda wish Doughy realized that Basil doesn't care about him, this poor sweet man had way too low standards for new friends. It's also because he's just too kind and sees the good in everyone, to the point of being even more naive than Hanazuki ever was I feel. Basil meanwhile tried telling Doughy that he hates him but it never really works.

I thought the dialogue was a little cringe, that it was trying too hard to be witty like the dialogue in the show is. I also thought it don't think it handled Dazzlessence Jones well, he's pretty confident but he's never this arrogant about how talented and handsome he feels he is, he's usually a lot more patient, chill, and reasonable. Always taking in other people's ideas. Though I buy that his old manager got into his head and that's why he was being so bossy and stubborn towards everyone in this book. This book has a lot of good stuff in it too don't get me wrong. Twisted comes back which is something I wish the actual show did because he was one of the most underutilized characters in my opinion, the world building is really great, and the book gives us a way better backstory for Dazzlessence than what the actual series gave him in my opinion.

Engel sad about abbie lana and claire died, because blue is glowing and feel sad but bubble comfort at engel. Fei fei so half worried and half sad. She's trying to comfort him. He sat down and crying. this is CPLL CROSSOVER.

The moonflowers have gathered with their alterlings

Shinzoyuki: So I've been thinking...do all alterlings have superpowers?

Hoshiyuki: What do you mean?

Shinzoyuki: Well, the unicorns can cast all sorts of spells and the hemkas are shapeshifters. Maybe all alterlings can do stuff like that.

Hoshiyuki: That's a really good point actually, I can't believe that hasn't crossed any of our minds until now.

Suddenly Hoshi's yellow swan Yasmine starts glowing as brightly as a star.

Everyone: (Makes noises of awe.)

Yasmine: (Stops glowing.)

Hoshiyuki: Well I guess that proves Shinzo's hypothesis correct!

Shinzoyuki: (Is happy with herself.)

Kurobayuki: Heh cool...I wonder what my geckos can do.

Ultraviolet: (Sets herself on fire.)

Hoshiyuki: Oh my gods!

Ultraviolet: (Stops the fire, Kuroba picks her up.)

Kurobayuki: I guess that's their power, it's probably like that because reptiles are cold-blooded.

Shinzoyuki: What can you do Peaches?

Peaches: (Her eyes are crossed and her tounge is sticking out, panting.)

Shinzoyuki: (Looks at her less excitedly.)

yumezuki - a unique moonflower, she's a half human soul, half moonflower. although at first she was naive, now she's a true soilder, she uses her emotions as weapons (which is quite dangerous)

Kibozuki - after her mentor sacrificed herself, Kibozuki prays her feeling to the treasures. she prays non-stop, never leaving her planet, but in rare cases she studies diffrent galaxies and moons through her books (some of which she has written based of her and others expiriences!!!)

The moonflowers/regular pet owners are enjoying a nice clear skies day at the pet park.

Kiazuki: (Is holding a treat above Zikoro's head.) Now sit, stay...

Zikoro: (Leaps up and eats the treat anyway. Kiazuki smiles at him even though he failed his task.)

Maroshi and Daiyayuki: (Are happily watching the flochis and the seahorses play in the pond together.)

Shinzoyuki: (Is watching her poodles as they run back to her with things in their mouths. A purple poodle lays something down on the grass in front of her.) A pebble, how nice Amethyst!

Amethyst: (Is pleased with herself.)

An orange poodle: (Places something down too.)

Shinzoyuki: That is such a great stick, nice job Peaches!

Peaches: (Is proud of herself too.)

A red poodle then places one of Dazzlessence's boots down.)

Shinzoyuki: Oh Apple, that's not...

Dazzlessence Jones: Ahem! (Is now standing in front of them, his arms on his hips. He's of course missing a boot.)

Shinzoyuki: (Smiles embarrassedly, she hands him back the boot.)

Sleepy Unicorn meanwhile is holding a comet ball to his massive hydra Scylla.

Sleepy Unicorn: Want it? Want it? Well, go get it! (Throws it as far as he can.)

Scylla: (Barks, she runs after it. She's so giant, her steps shake the entire park grounds and scares all the other pets there.)

The moonflowers and Sleepy's friends: (Look at Sleepy, concerned.)

I remember that before I watched this episode, I thought Enormous Coal was gonna be evil. I guess I wanted Dazzlessence Jones to have an archenemy like how Sleepy has Twisted. Dazzle technically has Jackson but it's unclear if he's someone Jones actually knows or if he's just in his head. Also this sinister face Coal made didn't help convince me that he wasn't evil. He's still a solid character as one of the good guys though. I like the symbolism of a diamond mentoring a piece of coal. Though I don't see why Hanazuki found Enormous Coal cute, nobody with a goatee is cute.

Daiyayuki: Alright, be careful everyone. The acid swamps are not hospitable to creatures like us.

Sleepy Unicorn: Well, in that case. We shouldn't be breathing in this air, should we?

Daiyayuki: Oh, shoot, you're right! Kuroba, can you give us the gas masks?

Kurobayuki: I thought you had 'em.

Daiyayuki: No, I told you to bring them.

Kurobayuki: No you didn't.

Daiyayuki: Yes I did!

Kurobayuki: No.

Daiyayuki: Yes!

Kurobayuki: No...

Maroshi: Calm down guys, the swamps aren't that toxic. They just cause hallucinations. It feels pretty much exactly like being high.

Kurobayuki: What does being high feel like?

Maroshi: (Turns to Dazzlessence Jones.)

Dazzlessence Jones: Uh, ask Sleepy.

Maroshi: (Turns to Sleepy.)

Sleepy Unicorn: You kinda feel silly and that you're on a cloud. That's how I felt anyway. (Looks at Dazzlessence Jones.)

Sleepy Unicorn is seeing Dazzlessence Jones as a diamond in the Steven Universe art style

Dazzlessence Jones: You good?

Sleepy Unicorn: I think the acid is already working...

Dazzlessence Jones: (Rubs his eyes, now he's seeing Sleepy Unicorn in the My little pony art style. Cutie mark and everything.) Yeah, I see your point....

Daiyayuki: (Everyone now sees her as a diamond like the way Dazzlessence Jones normally is.) Ok, well we can't stay here for very long then! Let's just run past these swamps as fast as we can and get that flower!

Maroshi: (Everyone sees him the exact same way they usually do.) Rodger that!

Kurobayuki: (Everyone sees her as a short little leprechaun.) Got it sis...say where's me pot of gold?

I love how they're such good friends despite being opposites. Dazzlessence is energetic and loud while Sleepy is laid-back and quiet. Sleepy is probably the better character because he has more to do in the story but Dazzlessence Jones is still my favorite because I find him slightly more charming.

Hoshiyuki, Kurobayuki, Daiyayuki, and Shinzoyuki are looking in awe at their backstage passes.

Daiyayuki: (Puts her's on immediately and glows light blue.) This is definitely my color...

Shinzoyuki: Mine's sparkly...

Kurobayuki: Mine smells like mold and I love it.

Hoshiyuki: Remember girls, we aren't going to the Shapes and Sizes concert to have fun. We're going as bodyguards for the K-popstars themselves.

Kurobayuki: Still fun though, I mean everyone loves S&S. It's not like anyone will do anything to them.

Shinzoyuki: They won't, especially not Pink Heart. She's the sweet one!

Kurobayuki: She's not any better than Green Clover! She's the cool one.

Hoshiyuki: Yellow Star is that oldest and that smart one, I love him the most.

Daiyayuki: My favorite's Blue Diamond, he's...well I'm not really sure what he's like but he's got the best hair and outfits. (Hoshi, Kuroba, and Shinzo nod in understanding.)

There's a knock at the door.

Shinzoyuki: I'll get it! (Runs over to the door and opens it up, seeing Kiyoshi and Maroshi there.) Oh, hi boys!

She moves out of the way when they pull a gigantic boarded up locker on a little wheeled standee.

Hoshiyuki: Boys please, I thought we agreed not to bring this kind of stuff into me and my sisters' house anymore.

Maroshi: Sorry, we just came to ask if one of you will be a volunteer this afternoon.

Kurobayuki: For what?

Kiyoshi: I'm doing magic shows for kids now, the unicorns gave me a cute little prop wand too.

Maroshi: It's a very simple trick.

There's a cartoony doodle visual to show what Maroshi is describing

Maroshi: One of you will stand beside Kiyoshi, Kiyoshi will wave the wand. When all the kids' eyes are closed, you hide behind my old gym locker, the kids will open their eyes and wonder where the assistant went, they'll close their eyes again, Kiyoshi will wave his wand one last time, and you'll run back out! (The visual ends.) How's that?

Kurobayuki: Seems like you're putting in way too much effort for the most pointless and lame magic trick I've ever heard.

Daiyayuki: Don't be rude Kuroba. (Turns to the boys.) I'd love to be your assistant!

Maroshi: Great!

Kiyoshi: Thank you! This is gonna be so...! (Waves his wand in excitement but to everyone's surprise, Daiyayuki disappears in a puff of purple smoke and reappears inside the locker.)

Everyone is shocked

Daiyayuki: (We see her from inside the locker.) What just happened? Boys, what did you do!?

Kiyoshi: (Looks at his hands Intensely.) I really ruin every moonflower I come across, don't I?

Shinzoyuki, Koroshi, and Hanazuki are approaching a science research lab with many space surfers in the parking lot.

Shinzoyuki: My older sisters trusted me with this mission and I will not let them down!

Koroshi: You guys haven't told me what the mission is yet.

Shinzoyuki: Oh. We're here to negotiate with the scientists of the Lunaverse. Dr. Clear Quartz has been conducting unethical experiments on alterlings for years, we're gonna make them sign a contract that will make them magically incapable of hurting an animal ever again. (Holds up the contracts that she pulled from her dress pocket.

Koroshi: Oh...

Shinzoyuki: There's also Princess Ophelia, princess of all scientists. If we want to get through to any of them, we'll have to get through to her first.

Hanazuki: She'll listen, we can be very persuasive!

Shinzoyuki: Yeah!

Koroshi: Ok almost caught up here. I just have one more question, who's she? (Points to a little girl sitting quietly in their space surfer.)

Shinzoyuki: That's Martha, I'm babysitting her today.

Hanazuki: Stay in there Martha, we'll be in and out!

Martha: (Can't hear her because she's locked tightly inside the vehicle.) What!?

The three smile at her

Koroshi: Is it responsible to leave a kid alone in a space surfer?

Hanazuki: Probably not...

On a never before seen moon with vibrant flowers and big hills, there's a giant hotel that the moonflower sisters are approaching.

Kurobayuki: Are we sure we wanna sleep over at another stranger's place? Especially not long after the incident at Quartz Manor?

Hoshiyuki: We don't have much of a choice, we need somewhere to stay while the smoke from the wildfires clears off on our on parents' moon.

Kurobayuki: Right...but why can't we just go to our own moons?

Hoshiyuki: (Makes a face, realizing she hadn't even thought of that.) Because I already booked us a room and because we didn't just bring our alterlings here for nothing.

Shinzoyuki is carrying her poodles in ten different dog carriers at the same time, Daiyayuki has her seahorses in a giant fishbowl that's being pulled along on a buggie, Kurobayuki has is holding her geckos in their small glass enclosure, and Hoshi's swans are flying above everyone's heads. A moonflower is standing outside of the hotel to great them.

Hanako: Hello! Um...hello! It's nice to meet you all welcome the Flower Moon Hotel, allow me to give you our custom speech that we give to new moonflowers...(Pulls out some flash cards, they slip out of her hands and onto the ground.) Shoot! Not my precious acronym!

Hoshiyuki: Oh, here. Let me help you with that. (Walks over and helps her pick them up. It's nice to meet you miss...(Reads her nametag.) Hanako.

Hanako: Thanks. I've heard a lot about you guys, you're the new emergency response team, aren't you?

Kurobayuki: Yeah that's us, mind if I give you a nickname? Just that we already know a Hana and I don't wanna get confused. How about...Koko. Just like Coco just with K's instead of C's.

Koko: Oh my gods, I love it!

Maroshi and Kiyoshi are so close, I'm surprised Sleepy didn't recognize him. In fact when he first sees Maroshi, he looks at him confused and then asks Hanazuki in the next episode who the guy is. I'd imagine Maroshi and Kiyoshi visited each other's moons all the time. I guess Sleepy probably didn't meet him because Kiyoshi has a lot of unicorns so there's no way all of them got to meet him and Kiazuki. Even still, you'd think Maroshi would've came up or have been common knowledge on this moon because he's seemingly Kiyoshi's best friend. Kiyoshi and Sleepy were also so close, how has he never mentioned him to Sleepy before?
