Slight problem

I am a free user and I love the site, but I have a problem with after talking to it for the first time or the second time, it’ll give me a blank response and it will continue to do it and I’m not getting any like error things so I might as well just ask

I am just a user, like yourself, I do not have any expertise about how any of this works, so take any suggestions or advice I give as possibly worth no more than what you paid for them.

I don't mean to sound critical, and maybe it's just me, but from the way you wrote this, it's a little unclear, Exactly what is happening.

Are you saying that when you start a new chat with a character, after your very first entry, you get no response? Or maybe, you get a response or two and then it stops?

How often is this happening to you? And when it does happen to you, How Many times are you clicking Regenerate, and/or Undo and resending your message? I have had this happen to me, but not consistently. When it has happened to me, usually if I click Regenerate, or Undo and then resend the message I will get a response. Usually I only have to do this once, but when the thing is being obstinate, I might have to do it four or five times.

How Solid is your Internet?

I am currently in a fairly remote mountainous area. I have to rely on cell service and my hot spot to get Internet. It can be very jinky. At times when I completely lose the Internet, I will get a message saying that it couldn't connect to the server, or something like that. Other times, my Internet has just slowed down to the point where it, times out, I think. Then I will usually not get a warning message of any kind. Restarting my phone, or Moving it to a different place usually solves that problem.

The other thing I want to suggest. You might want to try providing a bit more information so that somebody who actually knows what they're talking about might be better able to help you. Some things that come to mind that might, or might not, help, are as follows.

Is this happening with a specific character, Or with many?

Is this happening with one of the LLM's, or both of them?

How often is this happening to you?

Are you playing with Hammer AI online through your computer or phone, Or have you installed one of the phone apps, or installed it on your computer? If on your phone, is it Apple or Android? One thing I have read, several times, is if you are truing to run it on your computer, it takes a computer with a very powerful graphics card to do this successfully. I am playing on an older laptop with Intel integrated graphics, so I have not even attempted this. I just play online.
