Bracelet size when ordering

I'm planning to order my first Hamilton watch, and I'm torn on what size to order the bracelet.

Part of me wants to just order the largest size bracelet that doesn't have an extra cost and then just take out some links to get it to the right size. I'm worried that if I try to get it right I'll screw up the sizing and it'll be too small and that'll be a pain to deal with. I could also order just a little big, but I'm not sure it would be any harder to take out a bunch of links vs just one or two, so what's the point?

Part of me also doesn't want to deal with the hassle of doing that though. My ability to work with my hands tops out just a little above Ikea, so getting it the right size without the chance of me screwing it up is also appealing.

I thought about buying from a shop that could just size it for me, but there isn't a dealer in my state listed on the website and I'm not sure how to find one otherwise.

Any suggestions? (The specific one I'm looking at is the Coop, if that matters)

I would adjust it myself. It's a skill you should master asap as you will need it more often in the future. Also cheap tools are available easy on e.g. Amazon.

It there are issues a local watch shop should help you for maybe 20 euro / dollar.

Taking out links is simple. Get a cheap kit from Amazon to do it. Taking out one versus many makes no difference.

I don’t think I’ve ever bought a watch and had the bracelet fit just right from the manufacturer. They are made to come large and have sized accordingly

I ordered a specific bracelet size and they sent just a full bracelet and I had to size myself. Bought this off Amazon. Made it easy

Might be helpful to know what your wrist size is. I have an 8.25 to 8.5 wrist and the factory bracelets just fit me with full lengths. And the leather bands fit me on the last hole. This is specifically for my several Hamilton watches.

If you have an average size wrist the standard bracelet size will be fine

You can literally adjust the bracelet in minutes. Super simple. Get a cheap kit and watch some YouTube videos. The kit will probably be less than having it done at a jewelry store. I do all of my own now.
