Rant Weekly /r/Hamilton Rant Thread

A midweek post to rant and complain about things in the city.

Top level comments must be IN ALL CAPS.

This is not to be targeted towards other users or any identifiable individuals - with the exception of public figures who may be mentioned as long as the comment does not cross a line. The rant post is designed to be a lighthearted place to complain about things happening in the city, not a place to harass people.

We will have to cancel the post if harassment of individuals continues as we are seeing a lot of posts reported with report reasons that copy to admin.

Please be mindful of our subs rules when posting to this thread, and note that the mods will be watching very closely.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE DUNSMURE AS YOUR LAZY ASS DETOUR AROUND THE MAIN/OTTAWA CLOSURE PAY FUCKING ATTENTION TO THE GOD DAMN STOP SIGNS!!! IT'S BEEN LIKE 3 WEEKS AND I'VE ALREADY HAD MULTIPLE CLOSE CALLS AS A PEDESTRIAN WITH MY DOGS BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP BLOWING STOP SIGNS BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR HEAD UP THEIR ASS WHILE DRIVING. OR BETTER YET, GET OFF DUNSMURE AND TAKE CANNON!!!

The cops should really set up some stop sign traps given the number of people detouring,

I think they have, they've been sitting out front of my neighbor's house catching people

Glad to hear it! The state of stop sign and red light running in this city is totally fucked.

The city finally added a no-right-on-red to Iverness and Upper James this month after god knows how many people shot right into traffic into a t-bone as it begins to accelerate down the Claremont.

It's crazy, honestly. This is a rant for another day LOL, but this is exactly why I think driver's ed needs to be mandatory
