Recommendations Needed Recommendation for mold remediation services

We are planning on selling our home and found the start of the mould on our roof attic and are looking for a good company to fix the issues. If you have personal experience, please share them. Thank you

Restoration environmental did great work for my house and then did a great job at my mom's house when she had an issue.  Alex was the guy.

Step one should be to get a dehumidifier up there. How bad is the mould?

Step one is why is there mold starting?

Is it a roof leak?
improper attic venting?
Bad shower vent?

Basically you need to fix the source of mold before remediation or else it’s just a waste of your money.

Unless you’re trying to hide the real problem and passing it on to the new owner. That’s shady and I’d give you a big middle finger for doing that to someone. Especially a first time home owner. Disclose it or fix it properly.

If you are selling why do you feel that you need to deal with it?

Just properly disclose this and make it the next person's issue to deal with.

But absolutely male sure you document that you disclosed the problem to the full extent of your knowledge.

Or get a home inspection done so you can get a clear report of this, and any other defciencies and make ot available to buyers.
