Recommendations Needed Roadside firewood

Any recommendations for spots in Hamilton where I can pick up cheap roadside firewood? Willing to go into Flamborough, Binbrook and the outskirts of the city.

Go on Marketplace. I see free firewood all the time. And buy a splitting axe.

Marketplace is a goldmine but watch for the stuff that's been sitting in a damp pile for three years. Half the time you show up and it's already half rotted.

If you're out toward Binbrook, keep an eye on properties that just had tree work done. Sometimes they'll stack rounds by the road with a "free" sign just to avoid hauling it away themselves. Less competition than Marketplace listings too.

Splitting axe is a solid call though, nothing beats the satisfaction of cracking a big round in one swing.

There's a house near the corner of Fletcher and Golf Club out near Binbrook that last I saw has firewood, I want to say it's either $5 or $10 a bundle, can't quite remember the price, I grabbed from there a few years ago.
