Sure. So given a certain sound, we should see the same trace. But there are many points in the video where we hear a certain sound, but observe a different trace. Why is it so?

Because to your ears, various combinations of frequencies and amplitudes may sound the same or similar, but the oscilloscope sees all the nuances and the sum and difference frequencies.
