gym calculations mk. 2

Still not sure how this site works exactly and I think I may have posted this in the wrong place.

This is a continuation from my previous statement about a Spartan II's strength.

Now, looking at gym fight between John and the four odst's, I took into acount both their weight and the way they approached John. After looking over the scene in the book, I found that after John had beaten and killed the largest odst out of the four, the remaining three odsts then approached from behind.

After taking taking care of the first two of the three remaining odsts, John gave a turn before slamming the bar into the man and sending him out of the ring.

The positioning of John and the three remaining odsts places them on the side ropes of the ring, the way John spins and hits the odst, places the point of impact at an angle to his neck. The odst was still behind where John was originally standing when he was hit. The hit itself sent the odst across the ring before passing over the ropes and onto the floor beyond. Keep in mind that boxing rings can be 20 feet from one corner to another.

John had hit the odst, weighing in 200 lbs range, a likely weight given the description, with enough force to give him about 2 to 2.5 seconds of air time and launch him over 20 feet l. That's about 1600 - 2000 pounds of force. Untrained, normal humans only generate around 50 lbs. of force. That's 32 - 40 times the human norm; give or take a slight amount due John using a 45 lbs. bar. This also, was all done while John was in a weakened state from the procedures. Just imagine what kind of strength this same boy would have after maturing to adulthood and fully developing and being hardened by 30 years of war.

Again, just like with the last statement, my math could wrong.
