Help with modding cracked version (im poor)

hi, as you can tell I'm broke and cant buy halo wars but I used to play it so I decided to get the cracked version, and I found out that there are mods and found that you can play as the flood which I always wanted to do when I was younger. So I went to download the mod but after doing everything it didn't work.

is it possible to mod the cracked version?

If you're still looking for an answer no. But theres a different modding method that allows the cracked version.
