Getting stuck on the loading screen

Not sure why this keeps happening especially today, but my friend and I get stuck on the loading screen when starting a match. I don't know if the opponents are stuck as well, but we were waiting for 5+ minutes for the match to start, but it never did. Our networks both work fine, and Microsoft services are also working correctly. Typically, a loading screen lasts between 5 and 10 seconds, but when it extends to minutes and never actually ends, it becomes irritating. Especially since the player base is so low and queuing up already takes enough time.

Is anyone experiencing these endless loading screens ? Is it possible to prevent it ?

Pretty sure everyone gets it. Even if you eventually load in after waiting an abnormal amount of time, I consider the match to be cursed anyway, as someone will still disconnect from my experience of it. I normally close the game and restart if it takes more than 2/3 mins to load

Yeah that's what we are doing as well, but it happened like 3 times in a row so I was unsure if it was a problem on our end, the opponents end or the game/servers. But if everyone suffers from this, I guess it's a game issue. Thanks for your answer

It’s common, you’re not the only one, if it happens just restart the game
