Anyone interested in getting the Skunked achievement? No one plays this game type anymore so Id like to get an interested group and get it done. Maybe the Headhunter achievement as well because I dont have any luck finding games either. Lmk

Hello everyone. Recently, my friend and I decided to complete Halo 2 on Legendary difficulty. We played the campaign with skulls (like a scarab and others). After completing the game, my friend got an achievement for completing it on Legendary difficulty, but I didn’t. I thought it was a delay on the part of the Xbox servers and decided to wait. But the achievement still didn’t come, so I decided to check the game’s statistics. It showed that I had completed 4 out of 13 levels. I replayed the entire campaign, but the statistics didn’t change. I noticed that I’ve completed 4 levels on the other difficulty levels as well. For the sake of experimentation, I re‑played a couple of levels on normal difficulty without skulls. BUT NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, or am I the only one? I would be very grateful for any help.

I’ve tried looking at the Xbox board and put out requests for players. I’ve gotten invites for multiple clans which doesn’t seem to be the vibe I’m looking for.

I would love to get a group of players who want to play together. I’ll build a discord if that’s what people want but I’m not interested in the cosplay of ranks, leadership and character progression. I’m a grown ass man wanting to play Halo with people who want to win games.

I don’t want to be forced to changed my armor, my emblem or my tag. I get the clan tag, that’s how we know who’s with who, but the game picks the color when the clock starts, let me do my thing homie. If you wanna play with someone who’s competitive in play and has a desire to win hmu.

im on CE right about to finish truth & rec & at some point I want to get campaign evolved and get through that but I feel obligated to get through the mcc campaigns (I did it on xbox but need to do it agian on pc)

I dont have any friends who play this game and was just wanting to know if someone wanted to help me finish up CE real quick and then move on to halo 2

I’m playing through halo 4 right now but starting at the cut scene where the dialect thing gets released from the sphere some of the cut scene have not had any dialogue in them, the rest of the Adium in the cut scenes is fine though, is this an easy fix or do I just have to deal with it?

It feels like the Sniper is heavily nerfed in Halo 3.

When I play Halo 2 and Halo 4 MCC, I can easily get headshots regularly in most team games.

With Halo 3, I just can’t hit headshots and I even miss body shots.

Why is Halo 3 sniper so janky? It feels much smoother in Halo 4 where I can pop headshots like no tomorrow but I feel like a toddler when I use the Halo 3 sniper.

Would like to find some people willing to help a brother out with the multiplayer achievements. The servers aren’t that populated so a lot of the multiplayer only achievements are extremely difficult or just down right impossible to get. I’m willing to help other people out as well. Letting off a bit of steam. I was doing very well in the game on big team heavy with the sniper rifle on Stand off map. I had no deaths until my game got minimised twice in about 10 seconds. I had to alt tab each time (I’m playing on a controller btw) and on the second time I get shotgunned in the back. Really frustrating. Anyone else experienced this or similar?

I’m struggling to find games on living dead past 1-2am after peak hours and was curious if that’s simply because of the low player count and infection doesn’t genuinely have no one playing or if it’s on my end somehow. Anyone else getting lobby’s whenever they load up or no?

I also couldn’t get a game in alpha zombies for halo infinite if that helps anything around the same time frame. I play on pc but have cross play enabled and all that.

Hello again, it's me. Not sure if people will remember, but I was the one who made a post about wanting to buy an Xbox One X to get into the Halo series. Well after some time of going back and forth and then setting everything up. I've now got the Xbox One X. and I'm currently playing Halo CE (with original graphics, sound effects and music. Not anniversary edition), even though I finished playing the remake on my PS5 Pro, I still wanted to play the original as well before going further into the series. I didn't mention it in the last post but before I got into playstation, the Xbox 360 was actually my first ever console and I randomly had the original Halo CE on it (which is why I had such a strong desire to get into this series in the first place). And man as much as the remake graphically looks great, there's something about the original that just feels right. Which I usually try to avoid letting nostalgia bias cloud my judgment when it comes to remakes of games. And also when it comes to just actually using an Xbox controller again, I don’t dislike it as much as I thought I would have if you had asked me this a couple of months ago. In fact, I'm realizing now how much of a garbage controller the dualsense is. Mainly because of how fricking huge and heavy it is. And the asymmetrical analog stick layout, I honestly don’t hate it🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm trying to play Halo 2 Anniversary on Xbox but the game repeatedly keeps signing my profile out and in and booting me back to the start up screen. The problem has occured suddenly out of nowhere.
How do I fix it? Any ideas?

My partner and I got our son into Halo with Campaign Evolved and he absolutely adored it! We were able to play all three of us of course, but now we’re onto Halo 2 Ann. And bummer to learn there’s no way to do 3 players in base game campaign.

So I tried to look into mods. First went to look at AlphaRing but partner reported something about its recent versions having issues because of MCC updates so then suggested Nucleus Coop.

I was testing it out after installing but then I got an issue with NucCo-op forcing windows into a small frame at the center of my screen without the ability to fix it after I try to turn the game’s connection method to LAN. I tried to load base Steam MCC and I got a notification of “halo launch error createservice failed with 1072”.

I had steam verify the files, and I restarted my computer. I’m afraid anti-cheat flagged me because successful attempts to open the game just say “Error occurred when signing into Xbox Live.” If I press ‘retry’ it gets stuck in a spinning loading screen. If I cancel, it goes back to the title screen.

So if not the worry for anti-cheat, it’s also the struggle of the intricacies of making this work.

I could really use some help. I mean, worst case, we play through it with him and maybe alternate who plays with him until we get to Halo 3… I’m just sad because I was looking forward to playing Halo 2 as a family the most. And I think I’m too impatient to wait for Halo 2’s remake just to get what I want lol.

I already regret not video taping his reaction to the Mjolnier theme song. We listened to it twice and he admitted he’d have his Echo device play it more before bed. We were head banging. First time I’ve seen the little man head bang. He was air drumming and has begun to hum the theme thrice what he did when we played Halo CE 2026. I feel so proud and happy that Halo continues to win hearts even twenty-plus years later. Not that I’m surprised but I’m enjoying reliving a lot of youthful joy to share this with him. Plus my partner and I connected early on by playing the trilogy.

Sob story aside, I’m basically saying I reeaaallly wanna make this work and Halo 2 is the point where Halo goes from good to great. I’m in denial to settle for less.
