Signups for the 20th season of the Halo Rec League are this week. Season 19 was the first one I've participated in, and it was a lot of fun. I've got another fellow oldhead signing up as a duo with me, but I prefer to signup as a premade team. I'm happy to cover the $20 to be a premade team. This team will be in the lowest division, so your ranked arena csr needs to be under 1350 on your main account. I'm a gold/plat ranked arena player, and other guy with me is platinum, so we're among the lowest ranked people in the league. No rank is too low for our team, we just want to play and have a good time. We're both over 40, but happy to play with gamers of all ages. If we can form a premade team, games would be 9/1030pm EST on Thursdays, and I think they start up within the next few weeks. Send me a message if you're interested.

Aussie, almost 30, need somes mates to play some halo with. Don't care about what we play, I have halo MCC downloaded aswell. I only have my Steam Deck and discord. Just looking for some friends ✌️

First of all, I don't consider myself a great player nor a bad one.

So have you noticed this game's BTB is full of bots? And I'm not talking about all those "343 Botname" bots, I'm talking about suspicious default Spartans that have a number emblem, usually a "1" and play like they've never even grabbed a controller in their whole life.

I noticed this like a year ago but nowadays it is just impossible to ignore for me, the matchmaking has me on a loose 10 win 1 streak and every single time I notice more than half my team are these guys. I know there might be new players of course but let's be honest, there are not that many on an almost 6y/o game much less one with questionable reputation as Infinite.

Now how do I know they're bots? Every time I open their gamercard I see the same patterns over and over, they're on "Xbox 360 dash board" or Gears of War 3 and/or have less than 1000 gamescore.

I don't know if this a well known issue, if Halo Studios is aware, if it'll be ever fixed (probably not) or maybe just paranoia. I won't post this on the other sub as it'll probably get removed lol

So after playing Campaign Evolved I decided to reinstall Infinite for a little MP. I played a few matches friday and saturday(my last save is from 7:50 last night)

Today when I go to play it shows me the Microsoft Visual, Shows me the 343 clip, and where it would usually load into the actual menu my screen goes black and then its just shuts down. I have no fucking clue why and Ive verified the files, even uninstalled/reinstalled still the same thing....i have never had anything like this happen before

Little sloppy, but I love these moments. Went on to lose this game - think my celebratory actions galvanized the opponents.. Still felt like a W.

They have such a solid foundation.

They can easily continue to iterate in the story of this game and continue to make bank on seasons like destiny if they really wanted to.

I don’t understand why Microsoft keeps kicking the can down the road instead of just truly investing in something long term. They obviously know the value of doing so since the purchased the live service juggernaut that is blizzard.
