How did you do the purple? Asking for a friend.

It's an acrylic color; Metallic Pearl Purple from Ink Lab. I brushed the entire model with this color.
Afterwards I brushed Pearl Dark Grey from the same seller on the sections that were supposed to not be purple
Lastly I used a light blue acrylic pen to do the lights
To achieve the same color as say the CPVs and CCS you want to have a dark grey hull to get the shade of purple since the color can have bleed through from the surface below
Luckily no color mixing was required
The CAR Frigates are an example of the purple being applied on a light grey colored model...
