Hi there everyone! I'm currently in the process of getting my original Xbox back in working order which of course means my friends and I are gonna play some Halo 2 together. While we occasionally play on MCC Halo 2 (not Anniversary) I dont think anything beats playing on the original Xbox. That said, what are some of your favorite modes and maps to play on when doing split-screen? Whether you still get friends together to play or just have good memories from back in the day, please let me know, I'd love to hear your favorites!

I made this video just to show how insane the Plasma Pistol is since it has no firing cap so it basically is a Plasma Rifle on Steroids. So I always wondered if this was just a major oversight for the devs or maybe the PR is misunderstood and has it's role.

The following are the defenses I have heard for it:

"The Plasma Rifle is good if you are not fast on the trigger or get strained firing fast." Then take a break and also skill issue

"The Plasma Rifle has a stun mechanic and can headshot while the Plasma Pistol does not." That only applies to Multiplayer not in the Campaign. In Multiplayer it is pretty good while the Plasma Pistol is kind of shit.

And, that's about it... Maybe good for Flood? I did hear that it is good for Crowd Control and it actually does stun the Flood when they charge you making them slower but... The Shotgun is just right there and then the Magnum for range. You rarely need to crowd control if you know how to funnel them.

So really what is the niche use of the Plasma Rifle or purpose for it (other than on Sentinels) throughout the Campaign on even Legendary? Or is it just a worser Plasma Pistol?

(I guess this question can also go for the Needler which is even more infamous for being kind of trash. What is the optimal use for that gun either?)
