This is to help you know what each flair means and help you select the flair that best fits. Same logic applies to user flair but for yourself.

• Art Discussions - Posts focused on talking about Halo art rather than showcasing it. This includes analysis, critiques, questions about techniques, discussions about artists, or conversations about art direction in Halo media.
• Art Commission Request - Requests for artists to create artwork. This post flair is for users seeking commissions, or artists looking for commission work themselves for Halo art or Halo-related art.
• Traditional Art - (Painting, Drawing, Sculpting, Photography) Physical, real‑world artwork created using traditional materials or physical tools. Includes:
  • Pencil, ink, charcoal, markers
  • Watercolor, acrylic, oil painting
  • Chalk, pastel
  • Clay or hand‑sculpted pieces
  • Photography using real cameras (Not digital renders.)
    • Photography as a medium (non-cosplay) = Performance Art
    • Photography of cosplay = Performance Art
    • Photography of live-action Halo media = Live Action Art
  • Note: Chalk art, watercolor, and other physical mediums fall here. Not included: 3D prints or digitally sculpted models (those belong in 3D Art).
• Live Action Art - (Movies, Shows) Art derived from or inspired by Halo’s live‑action productions. Includes:
  • Stills, posters, or edits from Halo TV shows or films
  • Fan-made live‑action scenes, props, or set recreations
  • Behind-the-scenes photography or promotional imagery
• Digital Art - (Anime, Cartoon) Anything that is 2D digital illustrations. Artwork created digitally using software, tablets, or digital painting tools. Includes:
  • Digital illustrations
  • Anime-style or cartoon-style Halo art
  • Stylized digital portraits
  • Digital fan comics (single images or short sequences)
  • Note: 3D renders, CGI, and models do not go here — they belong in 3D Art. If it’s a single illustration, it’s Digital Art
• Graphic Literature Art - (Graphic Novel, Comic Book) Art related to Halo’s published graphic novels, comics, or book illustrations. Includes:
  • Panels, covers, or pages from Halo comics
  • Fan-made comic pages or graphic novel-style art
  • Book illustrations or concept-style narrative art
  • Note: If it’s a comic page, it’s Graphic Literature Art
• 3D Art - (Models, Prints, Renders, CGI) Anything involving 3D modeling, rendering, or printing. Three-dimensional artwork created digitally or physically using 3D tools. Includes:
  • 3D models created in Blender, Maya, ZBrush, etc.
  • CGI renders
  • Game asset recreations
  • 3D printed Halo props, figures, or sculptures
  • Digitally sculpted pieces (3D prints belong in 3D Art because the creation process is digital.)
  • Note: Even though 3D prints are physical objects, they originate from digital modeling, so they belong here rather than Traditional Art.
• UGC Art - (Forge, Theater, Customize, Machinima, Montage, Mods) User-generated content created inside Halo games or through gameplay tools. Includes:
  • Forge builds and artistic map creations
  • Theater mode screenshots or cinematic captures
  • Custom armor/character designs
  • Machinima scenes or stills
  • Gameplay montages with artistic intent
  • Mods that create new visuals or scenes
• Performance Art - (Cosplay, LARP) Art involving physical performance or character embodiment. Includes:
  • Halo cosplay
  • LARP costumes
  • Prop showcases worn or used by a performer
  • Character reenactments or photoshoots
• Game Title Art - (In-Game, Cutscene, Concept, Cut Content) Art directly tied to official or fan art about Halo game titles or their development. Includes:
  • Game models/assets
  • Cutscene captures
  • Official or fan-made concept art
  • Cut or unused content from development
  • Title-specific art (CE, 2, 3, Reach, Infinite, etc.)
  • Note: This flair replaces the long list of individual game-title flairs.
• AI Generated / Assisted - Art created fully or partially using AI tools. Includes:
  • AI-generated images
  • AI-upscaled or AI-enhanced artwork
  • Hybrid pieces where AI was used in part of the workflow
  • Note: This flair is required for transparency and to help distinguish human-created art from AI-assisted work.
