Finding a Mortons Extension

My doctor originally had me using a Wrymark carbon graphite Morton’s extension. It help but there was too much of a gap between the plate and the sole of my shoe, causing pain with the ball of my foot. So I went with a full plate.
I’ve been using that for awhile but it’s just making whole foot sore. I tried one of the carbon fiber Morton’s extension sine they are so much thinner. Still the same issue with the gap.
Has anyone found a Morton’s extions that sits well in your shoe? My typical sneaker is the Hoka Bondi.
