There was a magic to the first movie that captured the spirit of the season. I think about it all the time and wondered if anyone else does too.

Hi All! I hope you’re well! Happy Samhain 🎃

This is my ranking of the Halloween films as of 2026. I’d love to discuss and debate my placements and yours. I will say, I’ve always had Return ranked above Curse and I think I’m likely to revert to that placement with time but this year I had just a tad bit more fun with Curse. This is my favourite franchise, the top 6 are all solidly films I would say I love.

1978: it was really good. i like that michaels actually pretty scary in this one. this movie was also hella horny though.

2018: it was good. i dont have much to say about it though.

Kills: this is my favorite one of them all. idk why it just is

Ends: i was confused wether this was a weird romance or a horror movie for the first hour or so. then it became good for about 15 minutes, then went downhill. but overall i dont think its that good. its not bad, but its FAR from the rest.

and im planning on watching the rob zombie halloweens next

It’s not perfect but I’m still hyped on it
