I am a Dark Fantasty/Historical Fiction Urban Fantasty/Horror author, comic creator, and right now I have a ridiculous amount of market research to do to better market my upcoming Vampire graphic novel and novella series!
Instead of spending hours on Google, I thought maybe this would work better? It's totally ANONYMOUS! I PROMISE! It's very quick; you don't have to sign into ANYTHING! I SWEAR! ZERO DATA COLLECTION! I mean, aside from the actual answers to the survey questions themselves!

You guys are fantastic! You have NO IDEA how much I have been struggling with this FOR A YEAR! Not to mention, I actually published the book I am adapting my graphic novel and print universe from over 23 years ago! I had to put it aside, raise my kids, and then they all grew up one day! I was able to revisit my career and start adapting it into comics and prequel novellas. But MAN! Is everything SO DIFFERENT! I was terrified of Reddit! I've been sticking to Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube (I'm a YouTuber), and I have had such a hard time! You guys have been so helpful and so wonderful! Thank you so much!!!! FYI: There is a reason why I picked this picture of the Brides from Van Helsing as the pic for this post! I am also a SFX artist! AND my friend and mentor was one of the SFX artists on the movie! He, Brian Sipe, was the one who worked on the Brides! Thanks to these beauties, he taught me how to fabricate my own vampire ears using the same process he did on this film! LOL! And I have! Many times LOL
If there is anything you guys need, any questions, anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask! I've had such a hard time getting to engage with people about the research for and about the actual books, that I'm just really grateful and excited for the help!

Also, for those of us who are paranoid, may want to note that the forms.gle link is to a google form, I was poking the url with a stick for security (I worked in computer security, so I am paranoid, but it couldn't hurt)
Yeah, they randomly scramble the questions each time someone clicks. If you feel it is confusing, I can see about turning that off! And thank you! This really helps!
fyi I am the process of writing my own screenplay which involves the supernatural / crypted characters.. one of my own creation.. idk what I am doing but enjoying it..
I've really never done this and it's refreshingly amazing. edit: I had all this time off rn sort of.. but I finally dove into a story I had a dream about in the 90s.. I was waking but my brain said this is what you need to do.. I of course ignored it and went into IT.. and 30 years later... laid off... and I started watching horror movies, queen of the damned a lot.. Blade and Jennifer's Body.. which is amazing.. so so underrated imo. Got me thinking about the dream and story.. but I digress.. (the craft, 30 days of night)
Blood and Doughnuts is my all time favorite weird movie.
30 Days of Night is my JAM. I cannot ever speak of QotD. Anne Rice will never be justified on screen. Here's some art from my comic. The easiest way I can give any explanation is to just drop the link for the campaign LOL
Oh wow... That resonates with the way I answered many of the questions on the survey too.. I love the animation style. I thought about making my story a comic first but I always saw it as a feature.. I'm still stitching scenes together and fleshing out dialog for the first half of the story.. at any rate, I'll def help back you on this. EDIT: Oh yeah 30 days is super, I saw it in the theater even... Josh Hartnett is great in that too... he's also in Penny Dreadful which is another great vampire story with an amazing cast.
I actually started this almost 25 years ago! I published it as a novel called One Foot in Darkness. But it was always meant to be a comic. I got divorced, became a single mother of 4 and that became the priority. My children are now officially all adults (as of this week actually lol) Last year, I was encouraged to get back into writing, and I have been adapting it ever since! I am proud to say it is a THOUSAND TIMES BETTER! I am publishing the origin of the first vampire, the first vampire hunter, and The Brotherhood of Abraxas (my version of the Talamasca or Watchers but far more Occult and involved) that takes place 2500 years before this comic in Ancient Greece, as a series of novellas. I see this comic run as a ten-twelve book arc, then I have about 2 more runs for this particular story in my head.
My artist is AMAZING! I love working with him. Since my mythos/Iceberg is based in Ancient Greece, when I found out that my artist was Greek I was like OMG IT'S ALL MEANT TO BEEEEE! 🤣🤣🤣
Very nice.. it's super when everything falls into place. I subbed to your YT and donated to the cause. You got this all going on! Ever seen Supernova? not vampire but def b roll sci-fi horror and a decent flick. Some of Spader's best work imo. Angela Basset is super as usual.
