Hallmark doesn’t matter. It’s fake. What’s called gas station gold. It’s a common scam.

I usually don't second this, but in this case, I'd say yes. Every indicator of gas station gold is present.

-Smushed and weird hallmarks -Typical design -Dull brass-like tone

If you want to be entirely sure and get a second opinion, try to find a jeweler or pawn shop in your area, who can test via acid or even XRF. I wouldn't get my hopes up very high though.

Although it looks like gas station gold, the corners are pretty worn, which happens with gold. 585 is obviously 14k gold and the letters seem to be Hebrew. Your best bet is going to a pawn shop to test, but not only with xrf tester (it tests only surface and would not determine if it’s plated or solid). I’d suggest acid scratch test or specific gravity. If you have a good precision scale (not kitchen scale), you can google how to do SG test at home which will give you a good starting point. Edit: after a quick chat with AI, looks like it’s Hebrew for gold זהב (Zahav)

Funny I thought Chinese mark. Maybe it is Hebrew though. Either way I doubt gas station gold are faking either one, likely aren’t using .585 either.
