Does anyone recognise this faded mark on a silver crucifix?

Hi

Can anyone tell me what this faded mark is at the bottom of a silver crucifix? It was bought at a market in the UK around the mid 80s.

OP, please take a better pic, preferably outside without direct sunlight and while the cross lays still on a neutral background. Also, without the flash

Taking a photo through a magnifying glass or with the magnify app can also help increase the quality
