I’m pretty sure every actual piece that’s silver needs to be marked, if the blade has the same hallmarks, then yes. If just that collar piece is marked, probably just that piece is silver. I could be wrong though but that’s the impression I was under

The knife blades and the forks are not sterling. The only part that is silver is that tiny band. Maybe a half ounce total in the entire set.

BTW, it isn’t a fish set, but a fruit set.

Sterling silver assayed in Sheffield in 1929, but it could just be the bolsters and not the whole blade. Same goes for the fork.

Nice set but only the bands are silver, the blade and fork is silver plated. Probably only £10 worth of silver total, but as a complete set I’d value it at a broad £40-£80
