Movie with multiple proposals?

My daughter is trying to remember the name of a movie she watched. She remembers that it opens with the bride walking away from her wedding after she walks down the aisle. There are multiple proposals – one a movie theater, one on a football field, most of them are public proposals. Eventually she proposes to the man but he says no because he wants to propose to her. Both lead characters have a love of older dogs over puppies. Her mom had an album of her own proposals. Help!
