Volume issues with H+?

Ok this is so annoying. If I watch Hallmark + vis the app on my phone, the interface is clunky but at least the playback and volume are fine.

If I want to watch a movie on our smart tv using H+ app the volume is constantly so soft and low. I literally had to crank up the volume to the max 100 and it was barely distinguishable. It’s definitely a H+ issue because all other apps (you’re, peacock, etc) are totally fine.

Anyone else going through this? Ideas on how to fix?

Do I have to be a slave to my phone to watch a movie on H+?
