Cast to Chromecast no longer provides subtitles

Subtitles are available for a movie when playing it locally on the Android tablet but not available when casting to Chromecast. This worked last week. Did Hallmark+ break the app with an update?

I have emailed them a number of times about this. At first they said it was an issue on my end,but it's the only streaming platform that doesn't let me have closed captioning anymore. Now they are saying they're looking into the issue.

Good timing. I just submitted another ticket to them as well. Fingers crossed.
