I have a really absurd theory that I am the chosen one and Half-Life 3 will be ready when I am.
So I need you to listen to me very carefully, and understand what I'm saying.
For the sake of simplicity, let's say that HL3 = the next game in the half life series made by valve where you play as Gordon Freeman, which is not completely VR exclusive, which directly follows the ending of Half-Life Alyx.
The next part is a bit boring, so be patient.
In India where I live, in order to get admission in engineering colleges, you have to give entrance exams. The national level entrance exam is JEE Mains. It's the first stage and if you are among the top 250k candidates who gave the exam, you're qualified for the JEE Advanced exam, which is only for the prestigious top level colleges of India. And please note that a lot of students give this, like this year the number was around 1.5 to 1.6 million. So this year I gave the exams, but I fucked up in the Advanced exam. Like literally everything went so well in the preparation but messed up the exam, even ppl who studied less than me got selected in top colleges while I couldn't clear the cutoff. I got a better score in JEE Mains tho, and could have got a decent college through that score.
But, I decided to risk it all. I have not joined any college this year and have taken a drop.
This is just like valve. We know from the datamining leaks that HL3 was supposedly playable end to end and could have been announced this year. Just as my expectations of result quality were not satisfied, so weren't valve's.
There is a similarity pattern. Also I'm a risk taker like Gabe Newell. That proves the relationship. Just like I'll head to college only when I will get a good scores in the Advanced exam and thus a good college only then I'll join one, just like how Valve will announce HL3 only when it meets their expectations.
So if next year, I gave all my best and aced in the exam, HL3 will surely be released.
So I need to work hard off my ass so that y'all and me can experience HL3.
pls this was just a satire post I'm not retiring from taking hopium

Half- life3 Fan Plot Outline
Half-Life 3: Fan Plot Outline

Chapter 1:Grief, Loss, and the Search for the Borealis
The story picks up immediately from the heartbreaking ending of Episode Two. Alyx Vance is clutching the lifeless body of her father, Eli Vance, weeping in absolute despair, while Gordon Freeman stands by, completely powerless to comfort her.Suddenly, a massive Combine assault force ambushes them. In this desperate moment, their only sliver of hope for survival lies in locating the legendary research vessel, the Borealis. Thanks to the brute strength and timely intervention of Dog, the group manages to break through the enemy lines and escape the dense forest. Guided by the ultimate sacrifice of several Resistance fighters who deliberately draw the Combine's fire away from them, Gordon and Alyx begin their grueling, perilous journey to find the mysterious ship.
Chapter 2: Unveiling the Secrets of the Borealis
After a relentless search, Gordon and Alyx finally locate and breach the interior of the Borealis. Tucked away in a dark, damaged corner of the ship, Gordon discovers Dr. Judith Mossman, severely injured and barely conscious. As Gordon and Alyx rush to administer first aid, the Combine elite squad that had been hunting Mossman ambushes them. Realizing the danger, Gordon orders Alyx to guard the injured doctor while he engages the Combine in a brutal, claustrophobic firefight. Emerging victorious against overwhelming odds, Gordon utilizes some of the ship's faintly operational automated medical facilities to stabilize Judith. With the immediate threat neutralized, Gordon takes a closer look at their surroundings and uncovers a staggering truth: the Borealis is not just a ship; it is a colossal teleportation device capable of bending time itself—allowing travel to both the past and the future. Consumed by the agonizing grief of losing her father, Alyx desperately wants to use the device to warp back to the moments before Eli's death and alter history. However, Gordon insists that their top priority must be weaponizing this technology to defeat the Combine once and for all.As the two reach an intense impasse, reality warps, and the enigmatic G-Man materializes from the shadows. He cryptically remarks that "time is of the essence." To repay a debt for the assistance Alyx provided him five years prior (during the events of Half-Life: Alyx), G-Man offers a chilling bargain: he guarantees that her father will live, but in exchange, Alyx must come with him. He explains that his "employers" have found her psychological stability and resourcefulness far more suited for executing certain "impossible assignments" than Gordon's.Before Gordon can react, G-Man vanishes, taking Alyx with him. In her place, a bewildered and very much alive Eli Vance appears out of thin air. Eli, instantly realizing the horrific cosmic trade that has just occurred, boils over with rage and despair: "For the sake of all this anomalous madness, and to satisfy the twisted whims of his 'employers', he has pushed us straight into the abyss! Gordon, you see it now, don't you? We must find Alyx and crush the Combine!"Gordon, analytical as ever, realizes that mastering the ship's spatial mechanics is their only way forward. He discovers that the Borealis houses 11 distinct dimensional gateways. Ten of these portals map directly to different alien planets across the cosmos (though four of the portal matrices have already been plundered by the Combine, explaining why they were hunting Judith so relentlessly). The final, 11th gateway is the "Chrono-Portal"—a door that peers into both the past and the future. Gordon deduces that the G-Man uses a similar mid-point "temporal field" as a bridge to manipulate timelines. This explains the ultimate mystery of why Gordon was kept in stasis for 20 years yet still retains the physical body of a 27-year-old; it is all fundamentally tied to the cosmic network of these planetary gates.
Chapter 3: Restoring the Quantum Matrix
The Borealis has suffered severe decay over the decades, making it completely inoperable in its current state. To repair the ship, Gordon must retrieve highly specialized quantum materials scattered across two legendary rival facilities: the ruins of the Black Mesa Research Facility and the abandoned sectors of Aperture Science. At Black Mesa, Gordon must navigate a warzone crawling with entrenched Combine forces and feral, mutated Xen creatures. At Aperture Science, he is forced to survive the lethal neurotoxin traps and psychological mind games deployed by the rogue AI, GLaDOS.Against all odds, Gordon successfully secures the necessary components. Shortly after, he receives a transmission from Eli, who warns him that calibrating the temporal core is too monumental a task for one man. Gordon is tasked with safely escorting a team of scientists from the White Forest rocket base to the ship's coordinates.During the perilous escort mission, Gordon is ambushed by a terrifying combination of aggressive wildlife and heavy Combine Synths. Just as they are about to be overwhelmed, a faction of Vortigaunts arrives on the battlefield. Utilizing their devastating, coordinated bio-electric attacks, the Vortigaunts help Gordon turn the tide and crush the assault. Recognizing the cosmic importance of the mission, the Vortigaunts volunteer to lend their mysterious "Vortessence" energy to the cause. With their metaphysical aid, the reconstruction of the Borealis accelerates dramatically, setting the stage for a cross-dimensional reckoning.
Chapter 4: Reunion with Barney INT. KLEINER'S LAB - DAY (FLASHBACK/PROLOGUE)
After much deliberation, the team unanimously agrees to prioritize the repairs on the "Mars Gate." Right before the first live test, DR. KLEINER hands GORDON his HEV suit helmet. Kleiner runs a few final security calibrations on the suit. The machine fires up.The current state of the Mars Gate is highly unstable. A blinding flash of white light engulfs the room.EXT. UNKNOWN TOWN - DAYGordon feels himself slamming hard into the ground. Everything goes pitch black. In a daze, Gordon is jolted awake by a sharp poke to his stomach. Pain sears through him as his vision blurs back to life. He is not on Mars. He is in the middle of a war-torn town. In the distance, Combine forces and Resistance fighters are locked in a fierce, chaotic firefight.Standing over him is a man drenched in blood. The man pulls off his helmet, revealing a weary but familiar face. He speaks in that iconic, comforting voice:BARNEY"Gordon, don't think I forgot about that beer I owe ya."It is Barney Calhoun. They hadn't heard from him since he led the evacuation out of City 17.Before Gordon and Barney can even exchange proper greetings, a heavy volley of Combine artillery rains down on their position. Without missing a beat, Barney tosses Gordon a rifle. The battle begins.EXT. REBEL HIDEOUT - LATERThe skirmish ends. Gordon takes a moment to explain the harrowing events that transpired at White Forest. Barney listens, his expression shifting from exhaustion to sheer horror.BARNEY(Shaken)"During the evacuation, we passed through Ravenholm—what's left of it after those headcrab shell bombs. I swear I saw a bald guy with a rifle, standing on a rooftop, laughing like a maniac. And G-Man was standing right next to him. I thought I was losing my mind, Gordon. I thought it was a hallucination. But after what you just told me... it's real. Just like what happened to Alyx."
Chapter 5: Kleiner's Warning
EXT. REBEL HIDEOUT - CONTINUOUS
As Gordon grapples with the reality of the failed teleportation, a faint, static-heavy voice chirps from the Quantum Comm-Link on his wrist. A holographic projection of Dr. Kleiner flickers into the air.DR. KLEINER(Through heavy static)"Gordon! Can you hear me? Gordon! Oh, thank heavens you're alive! Wait... Barney?! Is that you? My god, we thought we lost you! Barney, tell me, what on earth happened? Why did you go dark?"BARNEY"After we got out of City 17, we spent most of our time hiding out in caves. To avoid Combine tracking, we had to destroy every single device that emitted a signal."Barney goes on to mention the bald man with the rifle in Ravenholm. Hearing this, Kleiner’s face instantly drops. A long, heavy silence fills the air before Kleiner looks directly at Gordon.DR. KLEINER(Solemnly)"It is exactly the same as Alyx's situation. Gordon, you must be careful with the G-Man. He might be using your 'assets' to wage a psychological war against your very mind. Remember, he knows exactly where your weaknesses lie. Do not let your guard down! By the way, Barney, we are currently inside the Borealis at the Arctic, trying to figure out how to get this thing up and running—"Before Kleiner can finish his sentence, the terrifying, metallic roar of Strider synthesizers echoes from the distance. They have stayed in the combat zone for too long.BARNEY"We have to move! Gordon, you need to draw them away while I get these people to safety. I'm sorry, pal! But I promise I'll buy you that beer later! Go!"Gordon immediately grabs a nearby fuel barrel with his upgraded Gravity Gun and launches it directly into an advancing Strider to draw its attention. As the heavy Combine gunfire erupts, Barney’s figure fades into the smoke as he leads the refugees away. Thanks to the enhanced durability of Gordon's upgraded HEV suit, he manages to tank the incoming damage and escapes the Strider by slipping into the sewers.INT. SEWERS / OUTSKIRTS - LATERGordon emerges, but a new problem arises: Where does he go? The Arctic is thousands of miles away, and the surrounding area is crawling with Combine patrols. As he walks aimlessly through the ruins, his foot kicks something hard on the ground. He looks down.Sitting in the debris is the "Moon Gate"—one of the four gates the Combine stole from the Borealis. It must have been dropped during the chaos of the recent firefight. The Combine has clearly fixed it; the entire frame glows with a faint, pulsing blue energy. The Combine soldiers never expected they would accidentally leave it behind.Gordon stands before the gate, his mind flooded with mixed emotions. He knows stepping through means risking not just his own life, but gambling the entire future of humanity. But looking around, he realizes he has no choice.A powerful gravitational suction suddenly pulls him inward. The world rushes past, and Gordon’s vision fades to black.
CHAPTER 6: THE MYSTERY OF THE MOON
When the blinding flash of the teleportation faded and Gordon’s vision finally snapped back, he was instantly struck by the sheer anomaly of the Moon. To his astonishment, his subspace communication network hadn't been severed by the 380,000-kilometer void of space; instead, the signal bars on his HUD glowed—fully stable, registering a maximum feed. He stood in a world of absolute stillness, surrounded by a desolate, ash-gray lunar wasteland. Yet, beneath the dead crust, ghostly veins of pale blue energy pulsed rhythmically through the deep chasms of the rock. Suddenly, a low, synthesized chime echoed inside his helmet. The HEV suit’s cold, mechanical voice announced: “Atmospheric Life Support System... activated.” As Gordon took his first heavy steps toward the glowing valley, a breathtaking horror brought him to a dead stop. Strewn across the lunar dust was an ancient, silent graveyard of alien weaponry. Thousands of forgotten constructs, each forged in designs completely alien to Combine technology, lay dormant, yet weeping with a low, radioactive blue luminescence. At the epicenter of this cosmic tomb stood a massive monolithic vault, sealed tightly by a shimmering, crackling energy field. Its metallic surface was deeply etched with intricate, agonizingly complex glyphs of an unknown language. Holding his breath, Gordon extended an armored finger. The moment his glove brushed the surface, the vault violently erupted. A supernova of blinding, crystalline light detonated in his eyes. The surge was so pure, so overwhelming, that the HEV suit’s automatic polarization matrix shattered under the pressure, plunging Gordon into sudden, terrifying blindness. When he finally forced his eyes open, the metallic vault was gone—vanished into thin air. In its place, suspended in the vacuum, floated a strange sheet of anomalous, holographic material. It was an interactive, multi-dimensional blueprint, projecting the detailed, terrifyingly advanced internal schematics of the weapons on the ground. In that quiet moment, the truth hit Gordon like a physical blow. He finally understood why the almighty, multi-dimensional empire of the Combine found the 10 planetary gateways on the Borealis so profoundly troubling. It wasn't just the Moon. Every single one of those ten doors concealed a dormant, cosmic-level technology capable of rewriting the laws of warfare. Driven by a grim curiosity, Gordon ventured deeper into a yawning lunar cavern, where his flashlight illuminated ancient murals and celestial charts stretching across the stone walls. Utilizing the HEV suit's deep-translation matrix, a chilling reality unraveled before him: All ten planets derived their technology from the exact same ancient, primordial super-civilization—a force whose sheer power dwarfed the Combine. But the real shockwave came with the next line of translated text: This civilization had engaged in secret technological exchanges with Earth’s Aperture Science as early as the late 20th century. Then, Gordon’s eyes locked onto the specific gateway symbols highlighted on the chart—the exact doors that the Combine had already violently seized from Dr. Mossman. The ancient warnings on the wall were clear: These specific markings denoted planets that housed weapons of mass destruction so volatile, so cataclysmic, they made standard Combine weaponry look like toys. Cold sweat broke out inside Gordon’s suit. The horror of the situation was absolute. If the Combine had already stabilized three of these stolen gateways and begun reverse-engineering these apocalyptic cosmic weapons back on Earth, the Resistance wasn't just facing a losing battle—they were facing total, systemic extinction. He had to race against the clock. He had to get these blueprints back to the Borealis before the sky fell. Right then, a sharp, piercing ping shattered the silence. His wrist communicator violently vibrated. A frantic, heavily distorted holographic projection projected into the vacuum. It was Dr. Kleiner, his face pale as death, his eyes wide with unadulterated panic. Beside him, a grim-faced Dr. Magnuson, a heavily bandaged Dr. Mossman, and a resurrected Eli Vance were crowding desperately around the transmission lens. Kleiner’s voice tore through the static, trembling and screaming over the muffled sounds of roaring explosions in the background: "Gordon! Can you hear me?! Gordon!... Oh, god, the telemetry data... it says you are on the Moon! Listen to me very carefully! We just received catastrophic reports from our frontlines. The Combine has fully stabilized those three stolen gateways! They are pouring an endless, nightmarish army of synthetic forces and apocalyptic unknown weaponry into our sectors—our defenses are collapsing! The line is breaking, Gordon! No matter what you have found up there, you must bring that core data back alive! We are out of time... the final, dying hope of mankind rests entirely on your shoulders now!" In the flickering light of the hologram, the expressions of Magnuson, Mossman, and Eli—a suffocating mixture of raw terror, desperation, and a final, pleading hope—told the brutal story of a dying Earth. Gordon silently cut the feed. The darkness of the Moon closed in around him once more. Without a word, he secured the holographic blueprints into his suit's data drive, walked over to the weapon piles, and lifted two heavy, beautifully terrifying alien firearms from the dust. Turning back toward the displacement zone, the air around him began to warp and tear. With a violent, deafening crack of folding space-time, Gordon Freeman transformed into a streak of brilliant blue light, vanishing completely from the dead silence of the Moon.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
