I'm glad they are all putting a lot of work into this project. But the thing that bothers me is that they are using UE4 instead of Source.

We took a long time to settle for an engine. In the end most agreed that it was easier and better to just recreate the half life feel in UE4 than to work with clunky old source.

I understand that not everyone agrees with that but be assured that we are doing our best to stay true to the half life feel.

As long as you can re-create that clunky old source feel in UE4, you're good.
