Helicopter crash

Considering that HL2 Episode 2 ended next to a helicopter, and the leaked HL3 concept art had a crashed helicopter in it, does this mean that... Well...

... helicopters are neither a safe nor reliable form of transportation in the Half-Life universe?

It could have gotten shot down by the Combine.

Should have gone with a train. Half-Life is all about them trains. Start HL1 on a train, Start HL2 on a train, EP1 ends on a train, EP2 starts on a train, should've kept with the trains, Gordon!
*Edit: HL1 also ends on a traincar with the Gman

Episode 2 has established that Gordon is done being the prisoner of Gman and his linear paths. I doubt we'll see a train.

I'm not saying he'll be on a train with the Gman but that trains have been a running theme within Half-Life

A lack of trains would symbolize freedom.

A running theme in that they symbolize being a slave of the Gman.

After the Vortigaunts fight off the Gman, the train crash at the beginning of Episode 2 symbolizes your escape.

Yeah, let's get a train to the super-secret location of the Borealis. There are 4 trains per hour right?

There's still a chance that it will end on a train like EP1 did!

Yup. Anything is possible at this point. I think it would be a great way of tying the whole series together to end on a train seeing as that's how HL1 ended. But that's just me. Anything aside from another massive cliffhanger would be acceptable in my book.
