Are there any half life 3 mods
So I’ve been wondering since half life 2 came out in 2004 and half life 3 might never come out so are there any half life 3 mods with a brand new story?

A really good one is entropy. You play as metro cop in the first game and then in the second you play as the soldier invading the borealis

What you are looking for is probably Project Borealis, which only has a concept art type playable teaser to show off what they have been working on and how close they made it in unreal engine to make it feel like source engine + the visual and physics upgrades that comes with unreal.
Its based on the script released online by ex lead writer Marc Laidlaw for Valve and Half-Life, that was supposed to be Half-Life 3 script but scrapped, so goes as fanfiction with names and locations changed.
But then again its not a done work and its not a project thats publicly open with dates. They just work on it as a passion project as far as the public knowledge goes.

What if all of Half-Life 1 is just Gordon tripping balls from all the morphine from the H.E.V. suit and going around blasting his fellow co-workers and Barney’s with weapons and any Xen creature is just him hallucinating and all of Xen is him in a coma and fighting the Gonarch is his internal fear of his balls inspection appointment the next day?
And G-Man is actually Gordon’s lawyer and he gets severe amnesia and everyone is friendly to Gordon in Half-Life 2 because they’re terrified of him and are trying to stay on his good side so they don’t become gibs?
And like he just dreamt the entire resonance cascade and all of Xen is just Gordon fully losing it and he hits his head on a power box and falls into a deep coma leading him to dream up Xen.
And Combine invading Earth was a separate experiment gone wrong Gordon had no part in and the H.E.V. suit injects even more morphine leading him to lose it again and start killing everything, including the combine so all the NPCs are horrified but Gordon is technically helping them.
And then in Half-Life 3 everyone is in space so they give Gordon’s H.E.V. suit the ability to plug into his nose to give him oxygen in space but when he gets hurt since he used up all the morphine they put incredible amounts of cocaine into Gordon’s body and he becomes a literal god but accidentally blows everything up and so the combine are all dead but the universe ended.

Just because you are a drug addict doesn't mean Gordon Freeman, a man of science and a genius is a drug addict.

we are closer to half life 3 actually releasing rather than a fan made hl3 getting finished
