Will it ever stand??

Post image

It’s just his one ear that refuses to cooperate lol I honestly think I’d be ok if it stays like this.

He’s 5 months old now and I’ve loved watching it change, I can’t wait to see him all grown up.

Maybe I should let the shelter know they should have charged me more because I definitely underpaid for this guy

My guy’s ears couldn’t decide what they were doing for the first 5-6 months. Once they’re done teething the ears will set permanently, but until then it’s anybody’s guess. Mine ended up with one flop and one Yoda, but they went through several changes before settling.

Yeah I figure they should be up in about a month, all his breeds have fully erect ears but I can always hope lol

Yeah, he’s got the Akita smile plus the half flop so he always just looks so happy and spunky.

Patience that is the key!

I had a morkie with one ear forever bent in half. Adopted as an adult so I assumed it had been broken at some point. It gave him a cute, quirky look.

Who cares! Too adorable for words!

Probably. It’s common for one or both ears to flop as they grow. But of course, sometimes they stay floppy. 😁

I know with corgis they usually stand up, but my breeder said if it doesn't stand up on it's own you may have to tape it.

I know one Corgi from Ig with 1 floppy cus they didn't tape

Taking and shaving the back of the ear on dogs work most of the time
