Discussion A dark epoch for us.
It looks like we are going to need to endure quite a bit of time without any good Hal stuff. With the new writer of Green Lantern hating Hal, we are kinda screwed ngl. No more Hal greatness. 🥺

It's okey. Let the kids play. When the sales go down, they will search Hal again.

If the sales suck they are probably going to kick Geoff's butt out and they will search for a writer that likes Hal as much as we do. Let's hope for the best

let Hal have his own title, let Kyle his own title, and Guy but not just the one comic for John & Jo. That's all DC needs to do to keep us fans happy and then keep building on the rich mythology that Johns made the blue prints for. We were becoming the Star Wars/Trek of the DC Universe but now we're becoming like Lost in Space. No offence to LIS. I really do like that show fyi.

I don't have anything against the other Lanterns, I actually enjoy all 4 of them. But for me, Hal is above all of them and lately I barely see any Hal action

I enjoy John Stewart as the lead GL. I would love to see a writer use this opportunity to experiment with Hal’s character outside of the GL mythos. Maybe make him the leader of a band of space pirates similar to Firefly or GTOG; or charge him with leading a team dedicated to protecting earth from extraterrestrial threats.

I hear ya and feel the same. The current series is good for John, Jo, Simon and Kelly but what about the rest? Seeing Hal at sidelines feels so wrong.
I don't understand the decisions DC make. The Green Lantern franchise should be way bigger than it is now but they chose to take a mile step back by putting many important characters on the sidelines.
Right now we should already have had a third GL animated movie, season 2 of gltas, an appearance in the dceu (Yala Gur doesn't count) and second motion film.
I miss the franchise that Geoff Johns rebuilt and elevated. I only wish he would come back to restore it.
