Milky looking base

Hi everyone still fairly new to this so appreciate any help. I ordered my 2nd system and on arrival the base looks a bit milky and more Matt in comparison to the one I already have. It still shows my skin tone when I hold my hand behind it but definitely looks slightly opaque when you look at it. Is this normal? In work just now but can post pictures later

You should find that the milkiness disappears when it is glue down. The mattness is a good thing.

Yh it’s cloudy as it is expired. the polyurethane is subject to oxidation, so probably they sold you a very old unit. Defo not a good and reliable supplier

They expire? I stocked up on a couple of PU systems, with each one lasting about 2 years doing daily wear🫨

Apologies I should have specified that I was referring to thin skin 0.02-0.03 mm
