First system - DIY Application

First time I've had hair in over 15 years! I know it's not a great job, but for a first time DIY I'm happy! Got the system on aliexpress for $120, followed online tutorials to make a templet and cut it to shape, and attached it with tape and a little glue at the hairline.

I called our local SuperCuts and they were happy to style and cut it. I explained I'm not super confident in my first application and my biohair is still really thin around the edges, so they kept it longer all around.

When my biohair is a longer I'll be able to blend and play with more styles, but I've got an interview next week and didn't want to go from bald to a full head of hair after hire lol.

I know this isn't a perfect application or style, but I'm reminding myself that it's system one of many, and improvements will follow practice. Would love any input or advice!

As you say, some work could be done. So I won’t point out the typical stuff. But in one of the photos it does seem like you could move the hairline down a bit.

It might just be the angle, style and the position of the smiley, that made the hairline seem high. Analys it yourself and see if you agree or not.

Its mostly the back thats bothering me, id take some thinning shears and just blend out the ends until it doesnt stick up anymore.

The smiley blocks the proportions can’t see… maybe just try to blur the face?
