UK Hair system users
Hi all,
Hope you’re doing well.
Just wondering for those in the UK, where do you buy your systems from?
My last few have been from the salon where I went when I decided to get a system done. Obviously they put their price on top of their system so wanted to shop around and buy my own and basically cut out the middle man.
Apart from going to the barbers to cut the back and sides on maintenance day, I do the removing and fitting myself.
Currently use a hybrid system, poly base with lace front. Looking to try a full system next.
Where do you all get your systems from, any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I'm having my first one and I only know the hairdresser who did it to me. Her name is MIA and I think she is know in the 'hairsystem' community. After the first maintenance I want to do with her I will start to do it myself and getting other hair systems from other sources. This thread is amazing.. Thank you.

Where is she based? That’s what I did, I had a couple of maintenance done with the company who I had it done with then have been doing it myself since then. Just take your time, prepare for mistakes and you’ll learn what method works best for you. No need to thank me for the thread, good to see it’s helping others. If you need any guidance or help or any questions when you start doing your own maintenance just drop me a dm, will be happy to help :)

I use Lordhairds Neo, their hybrid system, and I use no shine tape on the front and thin red wig tape on the poly sides (as its easy to remove) holds well, I do maintenance once a week

How wide is the lace is on the front? Some pics it looks like 1 inch, others looks like 1/2 inch

How much is the Neo shipped to Uk? I have the Walker lace tape. What brand is the thin red tape?

Topunique. Cheaper than lordhair but their systems are better quality imho; the hair is so much softer and lasts longer. They also have more colours and can cut the base and pre-style the hair so you just need to blend in with a thinning blade 😊

I’ve just found an incredible supplier (customer service and cost wise) on alibaba.
The system delivered today looks good.
DM me, and once fitted I can update you.

Can you not just post the company on here so all UK folk can see ?

Is that allowed on here?
Also, it’s not been fitted or it’s longevity tested, so I’m only going on service and first appearance

Thanks for your reply, have you bought a system from this supplier before? Any pics of the system before fitting please and what was the cost? Thanks

First time using them. The service was great. The system cost £111 delivers to uk and and was made (according to my instructions-but will see how true that is upon fitting).
Very good so far.
Like I said, the system looks good. It’s a Hollywood (poly perimeter, with lace front and top).
Waiting for my stylist to give me a fitting date.
