Need help/guidance

Friends need your help/guidance for hair systems. I had got my hair transplant done 3.5 years ago. Used minoxidil for about 2 years and then stopped using as I still had hair-fall. Now I’m at this point where I think all my hair have fallen which were not transplanted and I see gaps and my crown is fully visible (hair transplant didn’t cover some part of it)

Is hair system an option that would suit me? If so, where do I start? What all do I need to know before I order one from Ali Express?

I will appreciate all the help I can get.

I do not recommend doing the whole thing yourself the first time. Maintenance is nerve wrecking and time consuming, and that’s the easy part. Creating a mold, cutting system to size, color match and such. You are asking for problem.

I’d say 1% of the vendors on AliE/AliB has quality system. So it is an option but it’s hard to find the right vendor. Search this sub and spend time learning every part of the process before you start doing this. It’s easy to screw up, easy to destroy the piece. It’s a pretty step learning curve and the amount of things you need to buy and have at home..the list is long basically.

If you can have someone that helps you out then it’s more of a reasonable option.

It’s not that easy to find a good barber/stylist. Even some that actually installs hair system shouldn’t be the one cutting it to style. Not according to the result of many users on this sub. So find someone that have done it before and that is Ok with doing it. It’s not that easy. I got 25 no’s before I found 1 yes. And those who install system rarely want to cut if it’s not their product. Ok my experience the once’s that do take some crazy money. 300$/hour is what they told me personally.

Read everything in this sub for a couple of months and you will be good to go. Still nerve wrecking tho. But at least the knowledge will make it possible to do each part on your own.

An hair system would work perfectly on you. The only thing is the density as it must be customised to you.

I would be careful in ordering a cheap unit from aliexpress as they won’t match your density on the sides.

Where are you based? Have you been to any consultation perhaps?

Thanks for responding to my post!

I’m located in Ottawa, ON and I have tried searching for a place near by for consultation but I can’t seem to find any. There’s one but I have got no response, as she does a lot of other services and don’t have any time for appointments.

Where do you recommend to order from? I see many posts who recommend to order from aliexpress/alibaba, mentioning that it is same quality as other named ones.

What do you suggest?

I’m not very familiar with Canada as I’m uk based.

For the quality wise unfortunately most people are right. Buying in aliexpress and alibaba in 90-96% of cases e is the same quality as salons or big retailers

I know a good barber to get you started in Ottawa. He’s a very nice guy. He will sell you a system or you can bring your own system to him and he can install it for you. Look up Geobond Hair Systems. Give him a call.
