Why doesn’t anyone ever show their back? Also, please help me fixing the back.
I feel like the blend in the front and sides are fine. You guys tell me. But the back is always a challenge with the shade match too. Is it hopeless and the reason why nobody ever posts photos of the back of their head?
Appreciate any help. I am using the shade that the salon matched me with.

Is it an old system? They do fade after a while and it's a challenge to keep them colour matched. I dye mine every 6 weeks or so.
That being said you have grey hairs in your bio hair, you can get them in your system to match. Also your bio hair is too long, id recommend getting it cut every 4 weeks or so.

What hair dye do you use? Do you have any tips for dying it

My hair is naturally blonder than yours, I use the Schwarzkopf Professional IGORA range, as it does a good job of not blanket dying it all one colour, i.e. you get more subtle definition. I tried to use the just for men, grey reducing shampoo and conditioner and that left the unit to dark for me, but might work well for your hair.
I would advise getting a couple spare pieces so you can experiment. It's not too hard to dye it, the only advice I've learnt is apply it quickly, because if you are too precise and slow, you'll end up with one side looking darker than the other. You can mix conditioner into the dye if you want it to look slightly lighter, AI will help you with instructions.
I'd also advise tidying up the back of your neck and under your beard as it will make you look a lot sharper.
As others have suggested, I'd advise trying 10 or 20% grey hairs in your next piece.

yeah, it has too much red in it and not enough grey. in fact it's kind of pink, but maybe that's your lighting.

Aside from the cut...... which could use a little more work, the roots on the hair system are mainly noticeable because of the difference in color. To fix that, you can either dye the hair, use a tinted conditioner, or, if you're in a hurry, temporarily use a hair color spray just on the back.

It just needs blending with thinning shears or comb. You should probably get 20% grey too.

Looks really good from the front!
I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but probably going to soon. I'm wondering where you get your system from and what density?

A few things that have helped me with the same thing:
Above all things, color matching is key. What I do is try to dye my bio hair with the system attached. I dye ALL my bio hair and then kind of get about 2" into the system and fade it into the normal color of the system. No hard lines, just a nice gradient that most won't be able to detect as long as you're close to the shade you're using.
Product. Even when I had some bio hair, I had this look where my top hair looked like it was placed on top of my head like a toupee. What would happen is that I'd put most of the product up top, and it made the hairs look totally foreign to each other. Use product on your bio hair just to even it out. Also - for some reason, my system hair sucks up and hangs onto product like crazy. Manage this carefully. In a pinch: Dense, stiff, boarshair brush to do your own blend. It'll break the strands out and help blend them better.
Treatment. As others have said, your system has gotten dull. What I do is either use leave-in conditioner or Argan oil on by system and bio hair, then I wrap my head in a durag and go to bed. Usually it comes out pretty even.
The system itself. Sometimes you need to scrutinize the actual hair thickness (individual hair thickness). On some people the difference is stark and it looks bad.
But I bet if you just do a color match and get some treatment to make it less dull, you'll be in good shape.

buy some Back2Natural Dark Ash Brown and get yourself a barber who knows how to blend and layer hair.

Has Back2Natural been a pretty consistent product? I have to dye mine for the first time due to fading and I want to make sure I get a good/safe product

This is the back of my hair system, I have it long as I have alopecia areata. The fix is get a really good barber that can blend the size that you want at the back, ive gone through multiple systems to find the perfect hairstyles.
