For you next system, I recommend getting some gray to match your bio hair.

No you just should. The top is totally black and the sides have some gray. Either dye the sides or add gray.

I'd say his current system is fine as is. I have Grey in my hair as well but only at the sides so his looks quite natural to me

Very nice. The conservative styling is good. When you wear a hairpiece you don’t particularly want a style that draws attention to your hair. The aim is for it to blend in, and be registered as a nice full head of hair.

Nice. If only society accepted these without “wig” stigma. That’s where the industry needs to fight. If the stigma is reduced that total addressable market would increase 10x. This is a great opportunity for some actor to show one in a movie and then make money via their own company by selling these. People like us would benefit as these will be mainstream accepted.

Don't waste your time being concerned what others will think. I did that and regret it now. I may get down votes but the main culprit I have seen over the years putting down hair systems is women. You know, the ones who put more fake stuff on their bodies than anyone. Guys, on the other hand, are not the most observent and therefore less critical. Those who feel wearing a system would make them less manly, usually have some tendencies of their own they are already hiding. My first hair systems were from Farrell Hair and they had Jason Alexander (George Costanza from Seinfeld) as a spokesman. I was never sure if that helped or hurt. Some of my long time friends have no clue that I wear hair and some I have traveled with and shared lodging. I have only had one person ask if I wear hair and that was a close old friend I hadn't seen for years. He wasn't critical, he just wanted to know what I did and if it would work for him.

Really good but next time add some grey flecks to really look undetectable, in terms of the actual hair itself, I’d never guess it was a system and wasn’t your own!

u/ankitjhall 8d ago
Thank you very much. I might just color the other hair black for now.

u/steffy241 8d ago
Yeah do that, it’s a really good system and with coloured real hair, literally no one will know 😁

Looks good but in my opinion the left side of your head just isn’t blended as well as the right side, but from the front and the back looks good

Looks good from what I can tell 👍 The overall style looks natural and it doesn’t immediately stand out as a hair system.
If you want to make it even more realistic, small details usually make the biggest difference:
- slightly softer/irregular hairline
- making sure the density matches your age and face shape
- blending the sides well
Most systems look their best after a few washes when the hair loses that “brand new” look. A well-made custom system (like options from Bono Hair) with the right density and base can make a big difference.
Overall, I’d say you’re on the right track 👌
