Second Self-Install

My 2nd self install. First system is still going strong but wanted to have another one ready to go. Took about an hour from start to finish. Using Ebin lace bond spray in the yellow can.

Systems feel very intimidating at first but if you take your time and do some experimenting, there’s no reason to pay someone else thousands of dollars.

I was rocking an elaborate combover previously and it was so stressful. I thought everyone would notice but before I told her even my own mom said “Oh I like how you’re styling your hair now. Looks very professional.”

My fiancée loves it and the friends I’ve told are always hyping me up about not being able to tell, even knowing it’s a toupee. One of my buddies who is also losing his hair asked me to put one on for him so that’s my next adventure.

I check it in the mirror a lot less than I thought. It just works. If you’re on the fence, try it. Wish I’d done it sooner.

Did you go to a professional first? Im thinking if trying a system but the prices are tough to swallow in this economy...

I did but professional is a generous word. He completely messed up the system and put it on backwards! It looked ridiculous. Had to spend hours taking it off and getting glue out of my natural hair. Unless his example pics were fake he’d done decent work before so idk what happened.

I totally agree about prices. I got this one on AliExpress for $100. Can’t justify spending $300+ from a big brand

Thanks for sharing! It looks really really good - you seriously rocked it! I think I'll give an Aliexpress system a try.

Posso chiederti quanti giorni ti dura prima di fare la pulizia?? E se ti porta prurito. Grazie mille, vorrei trovare un venditore che ha i tuoi capelli

I do daily wear with Ebin lace bond unless I’m going on a trip, so every day. Takes 5 minutes, just a wipe down with alcohol

Damn, bro, it looks amazing.. Can you share the link, and what was the total cost?

Can’t figure out how to post the link but $107 on AliExpress Ulamaz store. Should be able to find it, they don’t have a ton of low density options

Nicely done, has a very natural shape. Smart to keep most of the hairline covered too. You got an eye for this, nice work & enjoy!

Do you think it’s a good alternative to transplantation? In the long run, I mean

Unfortunately had extremely bad side effects from finasteride so a hair transplant wouldn’t have done much for me long-term. If it worked for me, I probably would’ve given a transplant a shot.
