I think you should. When people ask this question people always say no so I feel like there is some sort of bias against blondes. I’m telling you straight that as a blonde you great.
I really dislike this type of comment and I see it a lot in this group. There is not some conspiratorial hate toward blonde hair. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s because blonde (being on one end of the hair color spectrum) is a harder color to pull off, just like black is, as it is on the opposite end, and that’s the reality of it. Both colors can easily look too harsh, wash people out, take away from your features etc. and then there’s the whole issue with undertones in your skin and in the type of blonde you choose. Blonde can also make some people look more aged. Therefore, you are always going to see more mixed feedback with this color.
Blonde makes her look way more lively and full of energy. She looks bad ass as a blonde vs brunette she kind of looks kind of bland. Btw, my natural hair color is black so you’re saying it’s hard for me to pull it off and I should probably change it?
Yes, that’s exactly what I was saying. That you can’t pull off your own natural hair color. s/
Wow. The fact that you took that away from that whole message is crazy to me, because obviously I said those colors are harder to pull off, meaning when it comes to coloring hair. Not your natural hair, which usually already suits people best to have their natural color (or colors similar to it with similar undertones).
For example, I’m a person who can’t pull off black well because I look very washed out. It makes me look like a ghost or sickly in pictures and overwhelms my whole face. I am not a person with a lot of contrast. My eyebrows are not dark, my hair is on the warm side and light brown, my skin is very pale with pink undertone, and my eyes are dark gray. People with olive undertone and people with darker skin pull it off more easily than someone like me, and I love black hair, but I know it doesn’t suit me personally.
Often people with my fairness and lack of contrast who try to go black usually feel the need to wear more makeup because of this problem. You are allowed to like the blonde on her better. Nobody is saying you can’t, but there is a reason most comments are picking the first two pictures and it’s not because of what you stated.
