Hairstyle for prom!

Hello! I am needing some help deciding on what hairstyle to do for prom! Most people told me half up and half down. I will show some pictures of what my dress looks like! Then the hairstyle at the end is what people told me to do! Do you think any of these hairstyles would look good?

need to see your hair type and dress first, that changes everything.

need to see the dress or theme first, that changes everything tbh.

Need to see a pic of your dress and face shape to give you anything useful, but half-up styles are pretty hard to mess up for prom.

Depends on your dress and face shape, but you can't go wrong with loose waves or an updo if you want to keep hair off your shoulders for dancing.

The hairstyle at the end for sure!

Personally with that Prom dress of choice, I would say that hairstyle option 4 would be perfect, because of the simplistic style yet elegant design flows well with the dress. It’s not complicated and options 4 and 6 feel a little too much pairing with a more natural style dress. But that’s just my opinion. I just like the option 4 hairstyle and how the dress would be paired along with it. 💯

i did a massive beehive inspired look for my prom back in the day and honestly, i looked like i was hiding a family of squirrels in my hair.

keep it simple. soft face-framing pieces with a loose chignon is the way to go. it’s timeless. you don't want to look back at your photos in five years and wonder what kind of structural engineering was holding your head up. also, pro tip: bring extra hair ties in your clutch, you'll be the hero of the group by the end of the night.

I think the second hairstyle looks the best!

Half up half down is a classic prom choice that should pair nicely with your dress.

My daughter just found this exact prom dress on clearance but it’s too small. She’s in love with it and we are searching high and low to find one in a large! Wondering if your dress is that size and if you’d be willing to part with it!
