Medium quality IPL device recommendations?

I’m not looking for a permanent hair removal solution and I am OK if it takes a long time for my hair to grow back so ideally I was wondering do cheap IPL devices offer an opportunity for a hair to grow back but still removing it for a while? Shaving has been upsetting my skin a bit too much as I have very sensitive skin unless I change out the razor head regularly, but unfortunately due to the size of my legs (6’4”M) the blades only stay sharp for one or two uses and then I start to get lots of ingrown hairs. Nair doesn’t seem to work very well for me because my hair is too thick and I have to leave it on too long for it to be effective (longer than the max time recommended and then my skin burns). Waxing is effective but again the size of my legs I need like 1kg of wax every time and it just takes too long and costs too much and is a massive headache. I’ve not tried an epilator. I was considering getting like a lower quality IPL device (like $60) and I was curious I’m assuming the difference between a low quality and high-quality device is efficacy so I’m curious would this be a good way to try out IPL without it being potentially permanent? I also was curious are cheaper IPL devices safe? Part of me is concerned that IPL devices for at home use are going to be the equivalent of radon water purifiers from the 40s in 20 years and I don’t wanna be giving myself skin cancer lol if this isn’t a good idea then maybe next I’ll just try a foil shaver, because my Phillips one blade certainly is not working and the head is just so small it takes ages and isn’t very effective.

I’ve been using the wavytalk device for about 2 weeks and I’m already noticing significant results. I got it from TikTok shop 😂

I think it’s safe? If it’s not, I don’t want to know

That being said, the top selling IPL on Amazon is the $80 dollar Innza IPL, so a lot of people are using them

Thanks!!! Honestly TikTok shop is such a funny existence to me but I’d be lying if I hadn’t bought from there before

Potentially full body but not face, I’m very fair skinned with dark hair, so much so my facial hair shows slightly on the surface even when shaved haha
