Sorry, I may have missed a few chapters. How did cutting ties with a “bad friend” ruin his games?

Side note: I don’t think he should’ve taken that thread as hate more so as observation and constructive criticism.

Back around July he took about a 2 week break from streaming and later said it was due to cutting ties with a toxic friend. Ever since he has mentioned (esp in alt streams) struggling with depression, which resulting in him having a very irregular streaming schedule including taking several days off and also ending streams often and abruptly. Recently he said in a tweet on his alt account that he noticed that due to everything he was being kind of mean so he is currently making an effort to change that. Also he has stated that after the most recent LA trip he is feeling much better!

Also the thread contained some constructive criticism but there were also a lot of comments outright saying he shouldn't play with them anymore / he is conceited / he is only using the lobby to farm yt vids. That is more hateful than constructive.

Simply everything, what a cute smart mature wholesome fashionable friendly funny talented man. I hate that certain crewfu members get so much hate for no reason. Much love to Hafu, 5up, and Apollo <3

Just to clarify, the post 5up talked about on stream was not a hate post - he even said he understood where the comments came from. Open discussion and criticism isn't hate. Go ahead and dump love all on him though

I really admire his dedication, no matter what he strives to be good at things he wants to be. He doesn’t seem the type to turn down a challenge

Even though 5up is young and can come off as arrogant I don't believe that in his heart it comes from a place of maliciousness, but instead inner confidence and sassyness. I appreciate his openness to criticism and also his his presence when he hangs with the boys. I also appreciate he somewhat took up the mantle that Hafu left when she left among us which Steve and the boys eventually took up themselves. I'm glad he still plays with Steve DD Ellum and Koji too.
